A/N: I needed to practice writing again to work on The Breakup Playlist so I'm trying with this :)

She stared at him as he went over folders of paperwork.

There was plan A to E, a backup plan to the main plan and then backups to the backup. Travel routes, security detail, diversionary tactics and camera work to monitor the home.

"Alright, so plan A is I go ahead to the airport with the luggages, wearing our endorsement clothes, of course," he murmured under his breath. "Then, she follows at a later flight. Hopefully, the reporters will be gone by then."

He sighs. "I hope we don't have to go to plan E. I know how stressful that would be for her."

Was this for a movie shoot? No.

Was this for an influential politician of the country? No.

This was for the few days that they will be spending in Japan to celebrate their first year anniversary.

She couldn't help but chuckle as she cradled her son, who was currently busy tasting his fist. Their other child, Kitty the puppy, was hanging around her father's ankles chewing on a treat he gave her. "Look at Appa," she whispered. "It's as if he's the head bodyguard for the President!"

Her little bean looked up, crinkled his nose, babbled a bit, then chewed on his fist again. "Yah, you're going to have to behave while Appa and Eomma go on a vacation, okay? Appa might develop a cape and fly back to you if you so much as get a scratch on you." Then, she pouted, "I'd rush back, too. I can't stand stand one insect bite... Oh, my little lovey. I want this time with Appa but I just don't know how I can leave you."

"You can stay, if you want," her husband's deep voice suddenly said. "I know how difficult it is to leave these two," he added, motioning to their children. "I'll cut my trip short so that I can go home quickly."

"No, no," she shook her head. "We agreed to take this trip for our anniversary and I want to spend this time with you."

Picking up Kitty, he headed to the door and kissed her gently. "Thank you. I appreciate that. But, it's tough. It broke my heart into a million pieces when I had to leave when he was barely two months old, I don't wish that for you if you're not ready."

She thought about the proposal for a moment. She would be lying if she said she wasn't considering it. There was that chance that she can be discovered by the reporters and photographers and she wasn't 100% ready to face them yet. Oh, her husband was supportive and made her feel beautiful everyday but she needed some more time to completely adjust.

However, in spite of all the news going around that things were not good between them which he protected them from by threatening to sue those spreading lies effectively shutting down those false news reports, she knew that the most important thing is that her husband remember that he was still her best partner and favorite person in the world. After all, he gave her both her babies! This family would not exist without him. He deserved this special time and attention from her and she desperately wanted to connect with him this way.

"I'll go with you," she finally said. "It will be tough to leave our babies but we need our time alone, too."

He smiled wide. "Really?

"Yes," she insisted. "Besides, I need to make sure the pretty ladies stay away from you and I have to make sure Tsurube-san doesn't convince you to stay in Japan!" (A/N: Tsurube-san is the host who they had lunch with and who was a big CLOY fan)

Her husband threw his head back and laughed. "He is very charming."

She narrowed her eyes at him. "Then, I must join your lunch with him and remind him who you married," she said, making him laugh again.

Playing with her hair, he asked, "Are you sure you don't want to join me in walking into the airport. I can protect you better that way."

She shook her head. "There should be a good photo of your outfit," she said, showing how much she understood from the years of being in this business. "And they didn't pay me, so I'm not wearing their stuff," she teased, even if she HAD worn pieces from the brand he was endorsing.

He laughed again, his eyes meeting hers with mirth and gratitude. "Sometimes, I still can't believe how lucky I am that you chose me. Top star, smart, intelligent, beautiful and caring and loving and the toughest woman I know who gave me a gorgeous son," he mused out loud.

"Maybe you saved the human race in a past life," she teased, leaning into his arms. "You forgot hot."

"Hmm?" He wondered, pulling back to look at her.

"When you listed the great things about me, you forgot hot and sexy," she pointed out in hushed tones because their children were in the room.

He narrowed his eyes at her and whispered, "I purposely kept things innocent because we are not alone, but just you wait until we're in Japan. I'll show you just how much I think that."

She bit her lip and as she pulled back, they shared a shy smile. After everything, they still have these moments... was this even real?! As the years will go by, they would probably get over it but she was glad that after years of friendship, then dating and one year together, they didn't take their intimacies for granted. "I'm so lucky I married my crush," she whispered to him.

"I'm lucky you chose me," he returned.

Leaning back in his arms, she responded, "You chose me, too."

They moved closer and as soon as their noses touched,

ARF!

Kitty let out a loud bark and, when they pulled apart to stare at their pup, she gave them a seemingly reprimanding look as if to say, Hey pawrents! Get a room. Me and my brother don't need to see this!

Chuckling, her husband pulled her in and settled for a hug. "I can't wait for our trip," he whispered in her ear.

"Me too, Jagi. Me too."
