Dr Sienna Connors has recently become an American board of surgery certified Neurosurgeon. She went through her surgical residency at John Hopkins in Baltimore. Now that she is a fellow neurosurgeon, she is looking to spread her wings and move on from John Hopkins. Her parents are hoping she will come back to New York, but Sienna has had many offers from all around the country that are very tempting. Some of her fellow surgeons in her year think she is crazy to leave Hopkins. While studying at Hopkins her mentor was Dr Tom Koracick, although Tom was a great teacher to her and taught her everything she knows, Sienna has been dying to work with one of the most sought-after neurosurgeons in the country Dr Derek Shepherd from the day she knew she wanted to be a Neurosurgeon. Until a year ago Dr Shepherd lived and worked in New York but then suddenly moved to Seattle. As her luck would have it Sienna got an offer from Seattle Grace Hospital which happens to be the hospital that the famous neuro god Dr Shepherd now works at.
