"C'mon! The water is refreshing!" Hinihila ko si Ethan papunta sa tubig pero ayaw niya kaya naman naka-sibangot ako. "Pumunta ka dito para mag-enjoy, hindi magtago sa lilim, ano ka bampira?" tanong ko pa dito.

"Let me change first, my clothes are heavy" sagot niya naman lalong kumunot ang noo ko.

"You know you're in the beach, why would you wear something heavy? C'mon! Let's have some fun" pag-pilit ko pa rito.

"Just a minute, okay?" pagdedepensa niya din.

Bumuntong-hininga ako at iniwan siya doon at tumakbo papunta sa tubig. Everyone is already there, siya lang talaga ang may ayaw. Kahapon pa niya ayaw maligo, it's our last day here and hindi pa siya naliligo sa dagat.

Pero hindi pa ako nagtatagal sa tubig ay kailangan ko na agad pumunta ng C.R. kaya nagpaalam ako at pumuntang banyo. Mabilis lang naman ako at naghugas ng kamay.

On my way to the beach, may humila sa akin, and sino pa nga ba? Edi si Ethan.

"Anong kailangan mo?" masungit na tanong ko sakanya, but he just hugged me. "Hey, mababasa ka" sabi ko naman at kumakawala pero ayaw niya akong bitawan.

"Just stay here, for a while" mahinang bulong niya, bumuntong-hininga ako and I stay still.

"What's wrong?" tanong ko naman dito.

"It's nothing, I just want to spend my time with you" sagot niya naman. I understand him.

"But you need to enjoy this trip, with others too Ethan, you need to socialize with them" sabi ko naman, tumango siya, I know he understands too, pero ayaw niya lang talagang gawin.

We stayed there for minutes, no one is talking, he is just hugging me, not wanting me to let go. There must've been something wrong. I want to know.

"Okay, tell me, what's wrong Ethan? Be honest" I pulled back to the hug and face him. He sighed.

"I just don't want to lose you" he answers, my eyebrows furrowed.

"You will not, what made you think that?" tanong ko ulit.

"It's nothing, I'm just making sure" I'm not satisfied, I only stared at him, waiting for another answer but he reached for my face and caressed it. "I promise, everything's fine, i'm just worried you're gonna be gone" sabi niya naman. Huminga ako ng malalim at tumango.

"I get it, but I'm not leaving, I will not leave" paninigurado ko sakanya.

"Thank you" he said and I smiled.

Bumalik kami sa tabing dagat, this time, I stayed with him, I didn't go into the water, we watched the others as we sat on the sand.

"When I was a kid, it's my dream to go here" I broke the silence. "I only see this at magazines since we're not close to any beach, when you look at the pictures, it's so relaxing, soothing and it feels like you can breathe freely, and it turns out, you can" I added. He pulled me closer to him that our body touches each other.

"Every place you wanna go, tell me, we'll go together, we'll visit them, so your inner child can be spoiled, don't hesitate to tell me, we can fly across the world just to go to your dream places" he replied and I smiled.

"I would love that, but the place I would really like to go is...." I looked at the sky and smiled again. "Home."

I can see that he is a bit caught off guard with my answer so I laughed at his reaction.

"Can't do it right?" pang-aasar ko pa at pinitik niya naman ang noo ko.

"Your humor is not really humoring" pag-singhal niya pa sa akin at natawa ako.
