Shane O'Conner: Fast and Furious Saga

Shane's POV

Hi I am Shane O'Conner the younger sister of Biran O'Conner. I am nineteen and live with my brother. He's a cop undercover. I'm really into cars. In fact I have two cars. One I drive everyday and one I use for racing. I don't race often as my brother would kill me if he found out. I am also really good at fixing cars. I am constantly fixing my brother's car as he has such a lead foot. I do both my cars also and plan on opening my own auto repair shop. The trouble is thought getting the money for it, so I race.

Anyway I was at home relaxing reading a book on Nitrogen Oxide and it's effects on cars. When Brian appears. "I need your help Shae" he tells me. Friends and Family call me Shae instead of Shane.

"Hello to you to, how are you?" I ask him.

"I'm fine, what about you?" he asks me.

"I am well" I state as I put the book down. "What can I do for you?" I ask him.

"I need a ten second car" he tells me.

"Why?" I ask him.

"You know I'm undercover, and I owe someone a ten second car" he states.

"Who?" I ask.

"Dominic Toretto" he states.

"Sucks to be you" I tell him.

"Will you help me find one?" he pleads.

"Fine, but I'm driving" I tell him. I drive us to a car yard.

"Seriously?" he asks me.

"You'd be surprised" I tell him. We start to look through the cars. I find a totaled 1994 Toyota Supra MK4. I pop the hood and smile. "This is the one" I state.

"You sure?" he asks me.

"Take a look" I tell him and he looks at the engine. "Once it's repaired, it could beat a Ferrari" I tell him. "Trust me" I state.

"I do trust you Shae" he says with a smile. "Lets go pay for it" he states slinging an arm over my shoulder. We managed to get the car for free but had to pay for it to be towed. I talked him into letting me come with him to Dominic's garage.

(Time skip)

We reach Dom's garage and I pay the tow truck driver. "No faith" I hear Brian say.

"I have faith in you, but this isn't a junkyard. It's a garage" Dom tells him.

"Pop the hood" I tell him as I come stand by my brother.

"Pop the hood?" Dom asks me.

"You heard me, pop it" I tell him smirking. A kid pops the hood.

"2JZ engine. No shit" he states.

"What did I tell you?" Brian asks Dom.

"You mean, what I told you" I state as I lean on the car.

"I retract my previous statement" Dom tells Brian. "So who are you?" he asks me.

"His half younger sister, my friends call me Shae" I state holding out a hand. He shakes it.

"So you know cars?" he asks me.

"I know engines" I correct him. "When Brian came to me begging me to help him find a ten second car. I just had to help" I tell him.

"I didn't beg" Brian tells me.

"You know what? This will decimate all after you put about $15,000 in it. Or more, if we have to overnight parts from Japan" the kid states. I learned his name is Jesse.

"We'll put it on my tab at Harry's" Dom states.

"Yes" Jesse says.

"I'm free, I would be happy to help restore this car" I tell them. "Besides I think I could learn a lot" I state.

"Sounds good" Dom says and looks at my brother. "I gotta get you racing again so I can make some money off your ass. There's a show down in the desert called Race Wars. That's where you'll do it. When you're not working at Harry's, you're working here. If you can't find the right tool in this garage, Mr. Arizona. You don't belong near a car" he tells him.

"He owns you now" a girl tells my brother then smiles at me. "I'm Mia, Dom's sister and that over there is his girl friend Letty" she tells me.

"Pleasure" I say. I walk over to Jesse. "I'll take care of the engine, you focus on the look?" I ask.

"Sure, but I'll still need to know the parts that need to be ordered" he tells me.

"I'll get you a list" I tell him.

"So where did you learn about cars?" he asks me.

"My dad was a real grease monkey. He wasn't around a lot and whenever he was, he'd be fixing cars" I state. "Anyway I had better get a start on that list" I tell him. I head back to the car and start to exam it.

"You know engines" Dom states as he joins me.

"Dad always said it was a gift" I say shrugging. "I can see the potential in cars when no one else can. Guess that's why Brian asked me for help" I state.

"He was smart to do so, I could use someone like you here" he tells me.

"I was looking to open my own shop. But like I said, I could learn a lot here" I state.

"Once your brother no longer owes me, I think I can help you with that shop" he states. Letty appears eyeing me.

"Relax girl, I'm not after your man. Just wanted advice about opening an auto repair shop" I tell her. "The name is Shane, but my friends call me Shae" I state.

"Letty" she says as she wraps her arms around Dom. "You got a boyfriend?" she asks me.

"No and don't need one" I tell her. "I should get back to making a list for Jesse. It was nice to meet you both" I state. They agree and go to an office. I get to work smiling. I can't believe I just spoke to the Dominic Toretto and that I am working in his garage. It's like a dream come true.
