First Chapter of Future Stories: Part 1

Tigress X Tai Lung Love Story

Set after the third King Fu Panda movie. Tigress feels a little lonely. Everyone around her seems to be finding love. Except for Master Shifu. Po and Mei Mei are engaged. Crane is courting a stork called Gigi. Monkey had eloped and is expecting an infant in three months. Mantis has his eye on someone, but hasn't worked up the courage to talk to her yet. Viper has a few males vying for her attention. But she is playing hard to get. But Tigress has no one.

So focuses on her work. Patrolling the city, training future generations. Including Tai Lung's nephew Peng. Who is doing really well. Anyway, she was patrolling one day, when she hears something groaning. When she investigates she finds an injured Tai Lung. And this is where our story begins.

Tigress' POV

I was on patrol like usual as the sun rises. It's been about six months since pandas returned to the open. And everyone seems to have spring fever. Everyone seems to have someone. Except for Shifu and Viper, though she has multiple boys vying for her affections. Mantis still hasn't worked up the courage to ask the girl he likes out year. Which is odd, he is a member of the Furious Five and he is scared to ask a girl out.

Anyway as I patrol the out skirts of town. I hear someone or something groaning in pain. I frown and go to investigate. I gasp in shock when I see Tai Lung, unconscious. How could he be here? He was sent to the Spirit World, where he was never meant to be able to escape. What do I do?

He groans again and I notice his chest is bleeding bad. I can't let him die, it is not what I was taught. I curse and left him up, resting one of his muscular arms over my shoulders. He groans in pain his eyes flattering. But don't open.

I half carry and half drag him to my house. I lay him on my couch. Then get my first aid kit. I tend to his wounds. Trying to think of what to do next? Do I turn him in? Do I keep him being back a secret to avoid panic? I don't know, yet. I decide I'll talk to him first, then decide. But I doubt he'd wake until this afternoon.

I finish cleaning his wound and bandage him up. I then set out some food and water for him. Then go wash up as I had to get to the Jade Palace. As I have a training session with Master Shifu, before I have to train Peng.

As I reach my front door I look back at Tai Lung one last time. Unsure if I am making the right decision leaving him here alone. I take a deep calming breath and leave locking the door behind me. Not that it'd stop him if he decided to escape and cause trouble. But it just eased my nerves of leaving a known villain alone in my house, even if he is injured.

I arrive at the Jade Palace on time and start to do my warm ups while Mast Shifu meditates. Once I am finished I kneel before him waiting for my lesson patiently. While dwelling on the thought of Tai Lung being in my house. "You seem distracted today" Shifu states.

"No Master, I am focused" I assure him.

"We shall see" he says getting to his feet. "Come" he tells me and leads me to the training hall. He sets it to my usual training session. "Begin" he says and I do so. It was going well until I got to the first dumby and freeze seeing Tai Lung's face on it. A wooden bar sends me flying into a pillar. I slide to the ground groaning in pain. "See, distracted" Shifu states.

"I am sorry Master, it will not happen again" I assure him.

"What troubles you?" he asks.

"Nothing" I lie.

"Tigress, I have raised you since you were but a cub. Do not think I do not know when something is troubling you" he reprimands me. "Now is there something you wish to tell me?" he asks.

"No, master" I say.

"Very well, again" he says. I nod and do the exercise again. This time I remain focus and complete it without any mistakes. "Good" he says. "Now I want you to meditate" he states.

"What?!" I ask surprised.

"I want you to meditate on what is troubling you" he tells me. "You may find the answers you are looking for" he states.

"But I have a student in a couple of hours" I remind him.

"I shall teach Peng today" he tells me. As the others around. Po, Monkey and Crane making a lot of noise like usual. "I suggest finding a quieter spot for meditation" he adds before going to greet the others. I sigh in defeat and wave at the others with a smile. Then go outside.

I decide to go to Peach Tree Hill. I smile at seeing the flowers in bloom. I kneel below the tree and quiet my mind. I begin to meditate and I am soon pulled away from my body.

"Ah welcome Tigress" a familiar voice says and I open my eyes. I gasp in shock at seeing Master Oogway. I bow to him. "No need for that my dear" he tells me. "Something troubles you" he adds.

"It's Tai Lung, he has escaped here" I tell him.

"Ah, I wondered who'd find him" he muses.

"You knew he had escaped?" I ask shocked.

"Not escaped, I released him" he states.

"What!?" I exclaim shocked. "But he's evil" I state.

"Then why did you help him, hm?" he asks. "Why tend to his wounds?" he asks.

"It wouldn't be a fair fight to kill or defeat him while he is injured" I mumble. He chuckles.

"He has changed my dear" he states. "But he'll need your help, along with Po and Peng. If he is to prove himself to others" he tells me.

"Why me?" I ask confused.

"Shifu raised him as he raised you" he states. "You both have more in common then you think" he declares.

"I am nothing like him" I deny glaring at him.

"We shall see" he says with a knowing smile. "I wish you luck" he says and the spirit world fades around me. Along with him. I close my eyes and reopen them. I am still on Peach Tree Hill. I sigh, what did Master Oogway expect me to do? How can he believe someone like Tai Lung could of changed? I must speak to Tai Lung.

I get to my feet and left the Jade Palace. As Master Shifu was taking my lesson with Peng. There was no reason for my to stay. So I go home, so that I can confront Tai Lung. So that I can see for myself if he has changed as Master Oogway claims.
