Alec's POV
"Baby I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight"
"God forbid Amy you are a bad singer" Andy said and we all laughed
"I was just lifting everyone's mood specially the one sitting right next to me" Amy said talking about me
"Hey what is wrong with my mood?"
"You have been awfully quite" Jeremy said
I was. Claire growing closer and closer to Ryan didn't sit well with me. But I know very well I can't do shit about it. Claire doesn't even feel anything for me, I am a fool to think we have a chance. Maybe it's time I move on for good.
"Just enjoying the view"
"If you say so" Andy said.
The rest of the car ride I quit thinking about Claire and actually spend some quality time with my friends. Amy made it a point to include me in every little stupid conversation. Won't lie it lightened my mood.
Thea's POV
Ryan and I kept on talking about stupid shit and honestly I loved it. Though I kept wondering what everyone else was doing in the other car.
"Here we are"
"Thanks for the ride" he came and stood near me
"Pleasure is all mine" he smiled at me. I had this weird urge to kiss him which I never had before for anyone. But won't lie I felt a little weird initiating it.
But when his intense stare left my eyes and landed on my lips I just did it. It was evident he didn't feel weird because of the way he smiled against the kiss
"Get a room you two" Stella shouted
I looked at a them giggling like anything except Alec he held an unknown emotion as he looked at me. I think Ryan noticed it too and thus pulled me closer.
"Should we continue?" Ryan said as they left and he kissed me again.
"Bye. See you"
"See you"
I was so tired I somehow threw myself onto the bed and fell asleep immediately
After the amazing weekend I was back to attending my stupid classes.
I was headed towards Baked and Fried when I met Alec
"Where are you going?"
"To grab some icecream"
"Atleast be civil and ask me if I want to accompany you"
"Ms. Thea do you want to come with me?"
"Fuck yeah"
"Come on"
"Where is everyone else?"
"Andy is too tired after football practice, Amy said and I quote she looks too ugly for the world to see her, Jeremy and Stella ignored my messages"
"Oh so you asked everyone except me"
I should keep my mouth shut
"I uh I no I - mean" discomfort clearly visible in his face
"You don't need to answer that"
"I am sorry I thought you would be busy"
"No it's okay"
