I was going to turn the doorknob "Before going, hear what your dad had done!" And it made me froze on my spot!

These two questions were making me anxious!
But I have to face it;

I fist my hands, wiped lone tear which escaped without my permission and turn towards him!
"I'm ready to listen!" My voice was filled with determination, "but I want hone-" I took a pause for a while and looked at him with disgust, "aha, how could I expect honesty from you!" I mocked him
"No, Maahi" He came closer to me and held my hand but I jerked his hand and gave him warning while gritting my teeth, "stay away from me!"
"Okay okay! I won't touch you but trust me Maah-" I cut him off, "trust and on you?" I fake laughed, "you know what Aaric? How it sounds like?"
He shook his head in no, looking on the floor as if floor has some interesting movie playing on it!
"It sounds like someone is claiming that we can go on the sun!"
"Maahi, now I won't force you to believe me totally!" He looked up at me with soft eyes, "my duty is to tell you the truth and to believe on it or not, it's all upto you!"
"Very good!" I said, crossing my arms over my chest, "I appreciate your efforts to make me believe it by blackmailing me emotional"
"As I said, Maahi! It's all upto you" he spoke with calm yet heavy voice, "but I swear on Prisha and our baby that I won't lie"
I guess I have to believe on him!
In those 3 months, one thing I have learnt that Prisha is more important for him than his own self!
He loves her more than his life
And no one can deny this fact!
Not even me as I have seen immense love for her in his eyes!
"Aaric just tell me everything and I'll decide that I should believe or not!" I said in stern voice
"Fine but please come inside and sit! It's not good for you and baby to stand more time" He requested me but as if I'll do it
"No, you start! I'll stay here only"
"Please Maahi!" He joined his hands in front of me with literally begging
I can't see that old Aaric who used to torture me, beat me, curse me!
This isn't old Aaric who was very powerful!
