The rest of the day we dance, drink, and y/ns family tells embarrassing stories about her.

"One time when y/n was 5 years old she had this imaginary friend named Danny, and she told all of us about him and she really liked him so one day when i came home from work i heard her talking to Danny and she had on one of her Mamas dresses and she got on one knee and asked Danny to marry her, and when we asked her about it she said that he said no, she was devastated, so devastated that she didnt go in her room for a week" her dad says.

"I remember danny, he was hot" y/n says. "Um ouch" i say. "But of course you are hotter" she sys holding my hand. She looks over at narrator and shakes her head.

He laughs. "Anyways, when are you and Gabriella getting married?" Y/ns mom asks.

"Well we have to plan the wedding first mama its takes some time" Eddie says. "Me and your papa got married 3 days after he proposed, we had a backyard wedding and your Tio Carlos, rest in peace by the way, old bitch, married us" Eddies mom says.

"I know you told us that before, we just want this day to be special"

"It will be special, its been a traditon for years, Eddie, for 30 years our family has been married in this very back yard"

The two bicker back and forth before Gabbie stops it. "Ok! You two stop it please, Eddies mom, me and Eddie will talk about having the wedding back here wont we Eddie" she asks looking at eddie.

"But-" she nudges him. "Gab-" she nudges him harder. He sighs "yes we will" he says. "Oh thank you mijo"she says holding his face and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"And Gabriella you can call me mom if you want to, after all you are family now, same with you Gaege" she says.

"Alright guys i might head out in a little bit, can i get another picture of you and y/n?" Narrator asks. "Wait another picture?" Y/n asks. "Oh right i took pictures of you proposing, anyways lets go before i have to leave" he says.

Me and y/n go over to the nice scenery where i proposed and we took some pictures, then she took some pictures with the girls and then with family then Narrator said his goodbyes and left.

I saw y/n shaking a little bit, and it was getting pretty cold, i put my jacket over her and hold her close.

I look at the time and see it was almost midnight. "Oh is it really that late?" Y/n asks. "Yep" i say. "I guess we should head home huh?" She asks. "I mean if you want to" i say. "Well ill go because i have to take Marissa back, shes over there looking like shes about to pass out" she says.

I look over and see Marissa fighting to stay awake. "Yeah alright she looks beat" i say. Y/n nods and walks over to Marissa.

They both come back. "She said shes gonna stay for as long as we are here" she says.

"Should we go, i dont know if staying up late is bad for a baby?" I whisper. "Yeah that might be our best bet" she says. "Come on lets go say goodbye to everyone." She says walking with Marissa to her parents.

"Bye papa and mama we have to go, Marissa is pretty tired" she says. "Ok baby is was good seeing you, and congratulations to being engaged" her mom says hugging her.

"Bye mija" her dad says giving her a side hug. "Goodbye mijo" he says to me.

"Good bye sir it was great to see everyone" i say.

We all leave and i drive us home. Y/n helps Marissa to her bed. "Shes asleep" she says closing her door.

"Im going to bed babe im tired" she says. "Yeah me too" i say we both go to our room and get into our 'pajamas' by that i mean shes wearing a tank top and im wearing no clothes besides underwear.

We both get under the sheets and i put on something mindless because neither of us can sleep without some kind of background noise.

She snuggles up on me. I wrap my arm around her. I sigh. "You ok?" She asks looking up at me. "Yeah just, thinking" i say. "About?" She asks.

"Us, like i know it sounds weird but it just feels weird to now be engaged to you, like i have been thinking about proposing way before we even got together, y'know?" I say.

"Its a comforting feeling knowing i did it but it still feels like i chickened out"

She looks at me and holds my cheek. "Its as real as its ever gonna be, i still havent taken the ring off my finger, i never thought this would happen, im glad it did, Gaege i am in love with you, i have never loved someone as much as i love you" she says.

I smile. I kiss her she kisses back and smiles into the kiss causing me to smile. "I love you" i mumble into the kiss. "I love you too" she says
