Eren's deep roar echoed around the isolated forest before his titan fell to the ground, "Eren!" I called

"What's wrong, Eren?! Get up! The future of humanity is riding on you!" Hange cried

Pushing my horse forward, I circled around his titan's thin body. He wasn't as tall as he usual is and the body doesn't even have any muscle and the lower half of Eren's body is hanging out the nape, "Eren! Give us a signal!"

The brunette didn't respond as Hange went down along with Moblit to get him out and finish the experiment. Captain Levi and Section Commander Hange had to go to Trost District to meet up with the Commander.

"Eren! You should still be in bed!" Mikasa scolded

"I'm fine, I already slept a whole day.." Eren answered as he enters the kitchen to go to our table of me and Connie, "Besides, it's my fault the strategy for retaking Wall Maria got shelved," He stated

"It's not your fault, you just haven't got used to it.." I said while chopping some carrots, "Having titan abilities is new, y'know. But using it everyday can be tiring, so try and rest up," I added before pass the bowl of chopped carrots to Historia

Connie and Mikasa announced that they'll be switching lookouts for Jean and Sasha. As the two left, Historia spoke, "Must be nice. You and the others... You have goals in mind, even though they won't be easy.." 

We looked over her in curiosity, "Now that Ymir is gone.. I don't even know what I want," 

I set the knife down as I started coughing again, "Didn't you say you wanted to save her?" Eren asked

"Yeah, but..." Historia trailed off, "I still couldn't believe what she did back then.. She chose her own path and I have no right to change.." She mourned

I picked up the knife again and started with the potatoes, "Finally, you're talking again.." Eren commented, "After you told us about yourself, you haven't smiled and rarely talk either,"

"Sorry. But the good girl Christa is long gone now," She stated

"Nah, Historia is actually better this way," I commented, making her turn to me with confusion, "Christa was more of your mask━a facade. It was so forced and unnatural, it makes me sick," I smirked, "But now, it makes you more of a normal girl!" 

"But anyways, you got a lot of time to think about Ymir..." Eren trailed off and his eyes widened, "... Wait, wasn't that.."

"Hange and the others have arrived!"

Our eyes widened when Hange announced that Pastor Nik was murdered in the Trost Distrct barracks. She figured out with Moblit that the pastor was tortured by the Interior Police before killing him. She thought that the Church wants to deal with him because he was cooperating with the Scouts.

"I was too careless.. It's entirely my fault," Hange grumbled

"Did the Military Police tortured Pastor Nik so that they would find out the information he spilled to us?" Armin questioned

"Most likely, but it was the Interior Military Police, which means there's something more behind it," Captain Levi answered, "In other words, they have no idea we've caught wind of the Reiss Family," He said as he turned to Historia, "Someone in the government is up to no good, and their eyes are fixed on us," he added

My eyes widened as someone barged inside━calling out to the short captain. It was Nifa, one of the members of Hange's squad. She approached the captain and handed him a letter, "A message from Commander Erwin," She informed
