Ryōshi's looked in awe as he saw as many amygdalas slowly breached from the below the water. One of them was carrying two large stone tablets the size of a car in one of its eight arms. In one of its other free arms was Eileen, Durja, Maria, and Simon. The shoreline constantly shifted with each steps they took as they waded through the shallows. Placing the tablets and the hunters down, the amygdalas started to stared at Nezu.

"It's like we're ants in there giant world." Nezu nervously said in fear to the sight in front of him.

One of the great ones lowered their head to the mouse bear an looked at him for second. "You look that of a beast, yet you aren't one. That is interesting to say the least." It said in a deep voice. It didn't stay silent, turning it's face to look focused on Ryōshi's "We have heard your plea for help bloodkin. We will help you forge your new weapon, but there is one problems. The process to make this weapon is not the same way you forge your earthly metal. No fire is required."

"If not fire then how is the blood turned into a metal?" He asked in return.

"The way it's made is through ones strife to risk there lives to get it." It said in a wary tone. "Old hunters place the materials on the first tablet." Its command was obey by the others as the hunters placed the blood and Kos's weapon on the tablet.

The amygdala ripped one of its arms off after the others placed the materials. The sound of the joint breaking followed by the waterfall of blood was distributing to see as the its showed no sign of pain at what it just did. It seem to not care as it placed the unattached arm on the tablet.

"As I said the weapon is made through ones deathly challenge and struggle to acquire it. Knowing this do you want to continue on Bloodkin?" It asked with caution.

"Yes. I will face the challenge you give me." Ryōshi's cracked a little.

A stern but familiar voice of Madam Moom from behind spoke "Good because I will be the one to give you your challenge."

As he turned around, he saw that she wasn't in her normal form. Instead she was in her Great One form. Everyone got one knee and bowed to the Moon Presence. Well everyone except Ryōshi.

"Cover the tablet an place it deep in the Great Sea." She commanded as she looked at her grandson.

"Wait I wish to be one to offer myself up to become part of the weapon." Ludwig yelled

"Ludwig why?" Gerhman asked

"I wish not to be stuck as a head. Rather I'd be part of the weapon. He needs a mentor at all times as he just a teen." Replied Ludwig

Understanding Ludwig, Gerhman placed the head on the stone table. The amygdala placed the top on. The sounds of body parts breaking under the weight was sadden to say the least as they saw one of their closest friends sacrifice himself.

Madam moon continued"This challenge represents humans lack of knowledge of the things around them." Her tone had changed into a more lecture oriented voice "Humans have a say that goes We know more about the moon than the oceans. That phrase reflects you as you know more about the world than yourself."

She paused as the amygdala slowly carried the tablet into the sea all while walking. "The Great Sea is what we call the ocean that connects to many worlds. To some it looks like a regular ocean but, to us Great Ones it's like portal. The lanterns can only go in places of my natural domains. An in worlds where I am a visitor and not a natural resident, I can not put down something in someone else's domain."

"Okay that makes sense. But are you saying in I might end up in another world?" Ryōshi questioned nervously.

"No won't possibly go to a different world. You are going to a different world." Madam Moon said in a straightforward manner. "There duty us Great Ones have. Where ever things are not in close balance and the scales are tipped to heavy to one side we step in to make them somewhat even. My duty is to report on these worlds and send others to set thing right. I'm giving you the duty of fixing the scales in a world full evil. You will have to dive deep to get there. The stone tablets where you weapon is incased is the half way mark. You will have to pry the tablets away from each other to grab it. There is no rest stop so you will either have to make the whole swim in one trip of find air. I'll take you to the spot where you will begin your first journey."

"Can say good by before I leave?" He asked

Madam Moon nodded "yes but remember the longer you say good bye the worse that world gets."

Ryōshi's walked up to each person and hugged them. All of them saying something different

"Remember to be on your guard." Maira reminded him

"Just because you see a beast doesn't mean it acts like." Durja advised before hugging the boy

"Strike from the shadows like how I did when I was a hunter for the church." Whispered Simon as gave the hunter salute.

Eileen hugged him tightly as he got to her "Even though we haven't spent much time together your aunt still loves you." As she looses him on the cheek

"Thank you Aunt Eileen." Mumbled Ryōshi's lips

"Mr.Nezu tell everyone that I'll be gone for a while. But tell Grandma that what's really happening and that I lover her and thank her for everything she's done for me." He said while bowing to the principle.

When he got to Gerhman he could see the tears at the edge of the old hunter's eyes. "I wish I could go with you but I can't. I wish I could've prepared and taught you better instead. But I was afraid and look where you are now about to go on some dangerous mission. I-I-I-"

He was interrupted as Ryōshi embraced him with a tight hug. "It okay you prepared mentally. An even then I got Ludwig to teach me how to wield what ever weapon I get." He said as he Sofly let tears down his own face. Breaking away the hug he look him in the eyes and said with confidence "An trust me when I get back I'll be a hunter."

Looking back at Madam Moon, he nodded that he was ready to go. She picked him up an put him on her head as she slowly waded through the water. Looking back one more time to see the fading shoreline, he wiped his tears and reduced himself for what is next.
