"Lijah just keep lookin at me, aight." Adio instructed, by this point, Anthony had us placed on our knees, facing each other, guns pointed at both the back of our heads.

"we gon be aight, trust me." He said lowly, keeping his eyes glued into mine.

"It's okay Adio, you don't have to lie." I told him truthfully, calmly.

I guess I was content, back at the house, when we were about to run from the bounty hunters, I was scared to die, but now, I wasn't.

No more fighting.
No more running.

At least I'd be with somebody I love right, I've always been a hopeless romantic, so finding the love of my life and then dying would just have to be good enough.

"I'm not lyin, Elijah don't give up, please.." Adio spoke lowly, almost begging, something I've never ever seen him do.

But what else did we have to hope for, we were down on our knees with guns point at our heads.

This was it.

"Neph, neph, neph, so that's the reason you care so much for this nigga. cause' you gay." Anthony finally spoke, clearly observing how we interacted.

Adio ignored him, and kept looking at me.

"You tried so hard to avoid whenever I asked, but it's been so clear since day one."he continued.

"Funny enough tho, ion even care that you a queer, that shit don't matter to me. What pisses me off, Is you threw away everything, to be with this one."

"Be gay, fuck it, but to give up a life of luxury, to run for your life with this little faggot? That's stupid."

The slur didn't even phase me, I'd heard it before, but it seemed like it pissed off Adio, I just hoped he didn't do anything stupid.

"Don't." I whispered to Adio lowly

"Anthony, it's time to finish up here." Don spoke, checking his phone.

"Bet." Anthony responded, looking back down at us.

He cocked his gun slowly then looked over at the man he had hold the gun up to my head, "you know what, imma kill him first actually, might as well give my nephew a show." He chuckled.

As they swapped places I took a deep breath. There were a few tears that left my eyes, but I wasn't sad, just...tired.

Adios eyes were wide, and for the first time since we've been together, I saw a tear fall from his eye.

"W-wait." He mumbled.

"it's okay," I repeated, smiling, hoping that he wouldn't be as hurt if he saw me smile.
