SURPRISE

Been planning for almost two weeks now and it's almost ready. You looked at the hotel room where you'd surprise your boyfriend when he comes back from a mission. Your phone rang and you answered it. "Hello?" you heard a loud crashing sound and Nobara shouting from the background. "Ahhh (f/n)-chan? We're almost finish setting up the cafeteria. How bout you?" Gojo asked as you giggled. "I'm about to go and pick up the cake and dinner then I'll head over there" you said as you grabbed your wallet and car keys. "What time will Nanami arrive?" he asked as you checked your watch. "Two hours from now, if he's flight isn't delayed." You answered. "Okay then. I'll see you in a bit" the call ended as you went in your car. Your phone rang again and you saw it was your boyfriend.

Answering the phone, you heard him grumbling. "Hey love" you said as he stopped grumbling. "What's the matter?" you asked as he sighed. "Today, Gojo has been harassing me more than usual." He said as you giggled. "Where are you right now?" he asked. "I'm on my way to school. I'll pick you up from the airport after some errands" you said as he agreed. "I'll be boarding in a bit. Thank God the flight isn't delayed. I want to lay on the bed with you and have some cuddles" he grumbled as you giggled. Nanami is really serious and a bit cold but if it's just the two of you, he's sweet and spoiled. Both of you have known each other since you were in middle school and got together during high school. You were a cursed user and was scouted by the principal himself after high school. That's where you got to know Gojo who became one of your closest friends.

Looking back, you couldn't believe you and Nanami are together for ten years and now, you're both engaged. "I'm boarding now (f/n). I'll see you in a bit. Take care. Okay? I love you" he said as you smiled. "I love you too" and the call ended just in time for you to park your car at the bakeshop you frequently go to. You went to the cashier and handed him the receipt. "Hello! I'm here to pick up a cake under (l/n) (f/n)?" you said as he took the receipt and smiled. "I'll wrap it up. Could you wait for a bit?" you nodded as he went on his way. In a few minutes, your cake was ready to go. "Here you go" he smiled as you thanked him. Placing the cake on shotgun, you drove to Nanami's favorite restaurant to pick up your orders for dinner. As you arrived, the manager was already waiting for you with your orders. "Hi madame! Here are your orders" she beamed as you smiled. "Hello! Here is the payment" you said as you gave it to her. "Here's your change" she handed it over to you as you thanked her.

"I'll let someone help you since there's many dishes." She said looking at piles of orders and you nodded. A waiter helped you as you thanked him. One last stop before going back to school. You thought as you stopped by your favorite alcohol shop. You entered and went straight to the bar counter where the owner usually stays at. "Hello! Can I have one bottle of (f/w)?" you said as he smiled and nodded. "It's been a while since you came (l/n)-san" she smiled as she grabbed one bottle and wrapped it up. "Yeah, it's my fiancé's birthday and I wanted to drink wine with him tonight" you winked as she giggled. "Oh my. Then take this with you." She gave you a box which she packed. "But..." she smiled. "You're a regular. It's a little gift from me to you" you gave her a bright smile before paying for the wine and waving her good bye. I was about to buy some from the supermarket but with this, I'm all set for tonight. You smiled.

You drove back to school as you called Gojo. "Satoru? I'm five minutes away from school. Could you please help me with the cake and dishes?" you asked as he said he'll ask the boys to come with him. As you arrived, he was already at the parking area with Megumi and Itadori. You got off the car and gave them two plastics each as you grabbed the cake from the front seat. "Isn't this too much (l/n)-sensei?" Megumi asked as you shook your head. "I think it's enough for all of us. Everyone here is invited for tonight's birthday party. Didn't Satoru tell you?" you asked looking at Megumi who scrunched his brows together. "No. He just woke us up early in the morning and started giving orders" he sighed as you smiled at him. "Thanks for helping out Fushiguro-kun" he blushed and nodded. "If it's for you, I'll gladly help sensei" he mumbled. You guys arrived at the cafeteria and arranged the food on the long table along with the sodas and juices that Gojo bought. Your alarm blared as you told them to finish things up since you still have to go to the hotel and to the airport. "I'll text you when we're coming. Okay?" you told Gojo who nodded.
