Faye's POV
I sat through the entire assembly not listening to a word Dumbledore was saying. It gets a bit boring after 6 years, it was only until Raven shook me to listen that I realised what the old man was talking about.

'Furthermore you are not permitted outside of the castle or school grounds after 7pm, and if you are caught will have punishments. And no in the forbidden forest, its called that for a reason' 

One that's two hours earlier than the previous years, what am I gonna do with my life. They surely can't lock us up in our common rooms right? 

'You may leave, back to your common rooms immediately' He stated as Snape started leading us towards the common room. I really hated the common rooms, they're much too dark. I know its weird since I'm a death eater and all but it's really unsettling.

The first day of classes.........

I woke up and brushed my hair quickly, I was already late for breakfast and I have potions first so my father will shout at me. It doesn't scare me he is my father after all. 

Everyone left without me again, this happens regularly. They care more about food than waking me up. I probably would too, I am not a morning person at all. One time I threw a pillow at Raven's face. Sorry I guess. That's what she gets for slapping me awake. 

I sat down at the table alone since everyone already left so I grabbed a bread roll and left for potions. It was with the Gryffindors, not a good match for us slytherins. We have a long history of hating them, mostly because of quidditch. We always lose. Its unfair really. 

I sat in an empty seat beside Lavender Brown, I hate her. It was the only empty seat since I was nearly late. 

'What are you sitting beside me for?' she asked in that horrible posh tone that went through my ears. 

'If you'd pay attention there is no more' I smartly answered back in a mocking tone. She hates me because I nearly killed Binky...her rabbit. It sounds bad but it really isn't, I promise. I just nearly set it on fire in first year but I didn't. Key word didn't. She has held it against me since.    

She huffed in my ear and went back to taking my fathers notes. 

'Faye start taking down notes' My father eyed me and I forgot I was supposed to take the notes down. Oops. Fun fact, I barely do anything right. Like I always mess up. 

'Mr Slug horn will be taking potions for this year as I am to be moved as the dark arts teacher' I heard about this happening but I didn't believe it, I eyed the new teacher. He looked vaguely familiar. I think I saw him talking to Harry yesterday. Weird. 

He is definitely up to something with him and I will find out what it is.
