Part 7

I didn't see Raven the next day or the next and soon enough it's been a week. I went to the meeting with the dark lord and he simply wants me to spy on Harry. Which is going to be hard now since everyone thinks I'm a death eater. The rumour Pansy created I think, has made its way around the school.

I headed down to breakfast and no one was at the table, odd. I thought I was late, luckily it's Saturday and I don't have to go to any classes.

'Hey Faye, can I talk to you' I turn around to a worried looking Mattheo standing behind me.

'Uh sure' I reply wondering why he would want to speak to me now. I follow him outside and we headed towards the tower and in silence I might add. Awkward silence.

We arrived and he locked the door and I realise it's something important.

'I need to speak to you' he says while pacing around the room. 'Well that much I gathered' I say sarcastically while rolling my eyes.

'Father thinks you shouldn't be the one to get close to Harry because of the rumours' I nod knowing where this is going.

'So I'm not on the job then?' I ask but he doesn't stop pacing around the room like a maniac.
'Quit pacing would you' I snap as it was really annoying me. He scoffed and I went over to sit on the edge of the tower.

'It was Raven' He says and I act confused.
'What was?'
'She told everyone you were a death eater, when she was drunk. She also said I was' I shrug and blame it on because she was drunk.

'She was drunk, really drunk' I laugh remembering how she fell onto Blaise and they both couldn't stop laughing. I noticed how happy she is when she's with him. It's funny.

Mattheo came over to sit beside me. 'Father is going to hurt her' he says while putting his head in his hands. 'Is that why she's hiding' I ask and he softly nods. Who knew we could be in the same room without fighting.

'So how's the Dumbledore thing going?' I kindly ask knowing how much stress he's under.

'I'm not doing it anymore, my mom is' He leans back while staring over Hogwarts. He is really odd sometimes, most the time we fight. No that's all the time.

'Raven will be fine, I know she will' I reassure him as I can see the panic in his eyes. 

'Leave now I have things to do' He said staring into my eyes. 'I think I decide if I do or not' I said while keeping eye contact, its basically turned into a staring contest. 

Suddenly I see an emotion in his eyes, not panic or fear. I can't figure out what it was but as soon as it appeared it disappeared again like it never existed.

I notice his face getting closer to mine and as much as I wanna leave the room I don't. Is he going to kiss me? No surely not. After a minute our faces are closer than ever and just as we're about to kiss, someone walks in. Malfoy.

'Hey Mattheo-' He greeted and went to turn around again after he saw how close we where. I instantly backed up. 

'I'll just leave you two alone' He says with an embarrassed smile on his face. 'It fine I was just leaving' I say as I got up and left.
