Part 20

We made it back to Malfoy Manor as the dark lord instructed and I headed to sit down at the long brown meeting table. Mattheo took the seat beside me and we watched as the dark lord slithered into his seat. He took a moment to stare at all of us who had just arrived. 

'I guess it's done?' He started as I nodded in synch with everyone else. 

'I have a few things to discuss, my son hand me your wand' He demanded as Mattheo got up to give him his wand. He walked slowly until he reached his father. He grabbed the wand and ordered someone to "bring the mud blood in"

I watched closely and they brought in the old muggle studies teacher. I couldn't remember her name but she was sweet and kind to all of her students. 

'Now, this mud blood believes we as pure-blood wizards should mix with muggles!' He laughed in amusement as I watched a tear fall from her face. She was beaten and bruised, I couldn't even imagine what she went through.  

'Lucius do you have something to say?' I turned to see Lucius Malfoy have the look of fear in his eyes. 'No, my lord' He coughed out and the dark lord swiftly turned to the poor woman on top of the table. 

He pointed his wand towards her and she closed her eyes. I felt horrible but I have no power over anyone in this room. I look towards my father to is staring directly towards me. The look of pity nearly makes me want to cry.  

Without realising the woman was dead on the table in front of me, my eyes widened as Nagini slithered towards the woman. I couldn't watch this.

'Faye? come here' Mattheo whispered as I leaned into his shoulder. I faced away from the scene that was about to unfold. I felt Mattheo's hand squeeze my hand in a reassuring way. I heard horrible noises and Bellatrix laughing about it. It's sick.

I heard my name being called and I sat up immediately, I wiped the tears off my cheeks and stared at the dark lord.

'Are you not enjoying the show miss Snape?' He asked in a sick twisted tone that made it sound like a joke. 

'No' I answered and I saw the rage build up in his eyes. 

'May I ask why not?' He laughed. 'I don't personally enjoy watching people get eaten alive by nagini' I scoff a little too loudly. I am so dead. 

'Well, Miss Snape. That's unfortunate' He frowned, there has to be a punishment after this. People have got killed for less. 

'Your lucky I can't hurt you, you need to learn your place miss Snape' Huh? Did he promise my father or something. Didn't seem like the type if I'm being honest. 

'Meeting is finished' Finally, that felt like a whole nightmare. 

His words kept ringing in my mind 'You're lucky I can't hurt you'. What on earth does that mean?
