Faye's POV
It's been a week since I saw Mattheo last, I still really despise him. I haven't really seen anyone since the first week of school. I have been in the library a lot this year. Normally I don't really go to it as it has too many people in it and I can't focus on my work.
I walk towards the library and I'm stopped by a curious looking Raven Riddle staring at me.
'Hey....' I say wondering what she could possibly need right now.
'Did you say something to my dear brother because I swear he's been acting odd' She asks looking around her before grabbing me into the library.
'Huh?' I asked really confused as why I had something to do with it.
'I asked you if-' I interrupted Raven and laughed.
'No I know what you said, I just get why I have something to do with it' I answer honestly while looking for a good book to read. My eyes finally landed on a copy of Pride and Prejudice sitting alone in a corner. It's a muggle book, most wizards especially pure bloods don't read books like this but I still don't understand why.
'Faye I know you have an obsession with reading but you need to take a break' Raven sighed as I grabbed a few more books.
'Books are like an escape of reality for me Raven, you should know this' I explained while she sat down beside me.
'I know I know' She rolled her eyes as I tell her this every time. It's not like I'm lying it really is. It gets me away from the drama in my life and lets me imagine a very different peaceful life. You get me? you probably don't.
'Back to my brother, what did you say to him?' She sharply asks and confuses me even more.
'I didn't say anything and why does his normally weird behaviour involve me?' I kindly asked while pretending to read my book.
'I don't know you guys have a weird competition going on like all the time.' Raven said while shrugging and with that she got up to leave.
'We're all hanging out today if you wanna come?' I nodded and started reading again. Finally peace.
'Library is closing Faye leave please' God I can't get two minutes.
