Time to work magic..hopefully

Lies.
It's not good to tell them, nor good to receive them. It is a simple thing really, but the outcome may not be.
It is always better to be truthful rather then lie. Lying was never really proven to do any good.
Perhaps it may benefit you to lie, maybe even preserve your feelings or someone else's.
Either way, where would it get you?
For me telling a lie was easy. It saved my ass for the time being, but what would become of that lie when the truth unfolded.
I guess I'll never know.
It was pretty easy to lie to Aria, when she asked me what I did after she left on Friday night.
It was pretty easy to lie to my mom when she asked me how and what I did on Friday night.
But I couldn't find it in me to lie, when I was asked if I had a good time on Friday night.
I wanted to say no. That I had rather be any place else, doing something else on Friday night. I wanted to lie and say that Friday night was boring and I should've stayed in my house.
But I knew it wasn't true. A lie told to partially benefit myself.
I knew deep down inside that Friday night was one of the best nights I've had in a long time.
If I had a choice to go back and change what happened that night, to do something differently. Maybe even take a different course of action. All the way down to even what alcohol I drank.
I wouldn't change a thing.

After I came home Friday night I went straight to sleep without even fully removing my clothes. To say I was tired would be an understatement.
I woke up on Saturday morning with many miss calls from Aria and a text message from my mom.
I ignored Aria's message and only answered the one from my mom, her simply asking how I'm doing.
After answering quickly I went back to sleep and slept away my Saturday.
Sunday came and went just as quick, and soon enough it was Monday.
I rolled out of my bed and turned on my phone, waiting for the screen to light up. It had been off all weekend due to the excessive phone calls and texts from Aria.
I had informed my mom that I hadn't been feeling well so she didn't call me for the rest of the weekend.
Mid day Sunday she did come and bring me soup, and tell me about her drama at work. Even though I wasn't actually sick I still ate the soup and listened intently about her drama about a client.
Finally the phone screen came on and not a second later my phone started ringing excessively.
Notifications coming from social media apps filled my phone, making it ring non stop.
About 2 minutes later it all came to a stop and I quickly opened my phone to see what the hell was going on.
I tapped on Instagram quickly to see about 500 dm's and hundreds of likes on all my posts.
I scrunched up my face in confusion and went to open one of the dm's.
To my surprise it was a video and the person had sent heart eyes along with it. I tapped on the video to see what it was and I nearly passed out from shock.
