Missing Shikamaru (naruhina Ft Little Neji)

Hinatas pov

"waaaaaa I miss shikamaru!"

I looked at my cousin helplessly. Nejis boyfriend Shikamaru had to leave on a mission and neji was fine at the start. That is until he started regressing and now he won't stop crying!

"I know honey but shikamaru will be back in a couple of days" I said reassuringly.

"but I don't wanna wait that wong!" he sobbed.

"stop that racket this instant!" papa yelled from downstairs.

"right papa" I said holding neji close. This isn't good. Nejis really upset but if he keeps crying like this then papa might actually hit him. Is there somewhere we can go until neji calms down? Wait!

"neji we're going to visit Oni-chan ok" I said with a bright smile.

"ok" he said wiping tears away from his eyes.

We walked down the village together. Many of the villagers gave us strange looks as they saw neji crying softly with a teddy bear in his arms but I payed them no mind.

We arrived at narutos apartment and I knocked on the door. Naruto answered with a bright smile.

"hey hinata. What's wrong with neji?" he looked at neji worriedly.

"he's regressing and he's been missing shikamaru alot" I explained "I was hoping we could stay here. I'm worried about papa hurting him"

Naruto nodded with a serious look on his face "come on in"

We walked in together. Neji took a few steps forward and burst into loud tears.

"wow nejis pretty loud isn't he" naruto said covering his ears.

"yeah. It's pretty surprising considering how soft spoken neji is" I said also covering my ears.

Naruto walked up to neji and petted his head "come on little buddy calm down. Shikamaru will be back before you know it" he said reassuringly.

Neji nodded and rubbed his eyes "mmm I sweepy" he muttered.

"yeah I bet you are buddy" he said scooping neji up into his arms "hinata honey it might be best if I keep neji here until shikamaru returns. You know just to be on the safe side"

I nodded "I'd be very grateful if you did that"

He grinned and placed neji down on the sofa. He wrapped a blanket around him and sighed.

"right looks like I'll be playing babysitter"
