Dear heavenly father
Help me not to take shortcuts in life but rather go through the whole process. Help me not to be so quick to rush. Help me to avoid skipping steps that are necessary for my growth. Help me to learn everything you want me to learn in the season I am in right now. Despite how horrible trials can feel, help me to take my time to understand and ask you to help me to learn everything you want me to learn. With each difficulty, equip me and strengthen me for the next season. Prepare me for each step of my life and continue to direct my path. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says, help me to trust you with all my heart and lean not on my understanding. Help me to open up to you and leave all in your hands.
