Ugh sorry this took so long- I've been really busy!! but here's the final chapter!

"I-It's Cherry" He said

Dally rolled his eyes 

"Yeah No shit, what'd she want?" 

I looked at Ponyboy's pleading eyes as he looked back at mine.

"She broke up with me" he said as he slowly sat down 

The gang all looked at each other, I could tell they had no idea what to do since neither of them experienced a real heartbreak. 

I took a deep breath as I made my way over to Ponyboy, slowly taking a seat next to him. He looked at me with teary eyes.

I quickly hugged him, he really didn't hesitate cause he began crying in my chest 

I motioned the gang to go to the other room so Ponyboy wouldn't be embarrassed. They nodded until Dallas tripped over the rug and fell, causing a big thump.

I rolled my eyes

As soon as they were gone, I slowly lifted up Ponyboy's head.

"You okay Pone?" I asked

He nodded quickly wiping his tears

"Yeah, that was pretty stupid" he muttered

I shook my head

"No, I would have reacted the same way" 

He sighed 

"I dunno, I just thought I was doing what was best, but what I didn't realize was it was hurting you"

I nodded

He turned to me 

"I'm really sorry Y/N, I should have known I couldn't replace you, you're one of a kind" 

It was a moment of silence 

"Best friends?" He asked while holding out his pinkey

I laughed

"Best friends" I said while shaking it 

I smiled as I rested my head on his chest 

"I know, I'm sorry too Ponyboy, I was selfish, I guess you could say I was mad" 

"OR JEALOUS" Dally yelled out from the next room 

My eyes shot open

"DALLAS!" 

"Sorry, Y/N" He said coming out of the room, the gang all following him 

Ponyboy smiled at me, "So Y/N wanna go to the Dingo?" he asked

I smiled, "Sure Race ya" I said bolting out the door, Ponyboy quickly behind me 

Darry smiled 

"So do you guys think our plan worked?" he said 

Soda shrugged 

"Don't know, but what I do know is we owe Cherry 30 dollars" 

"And a date with Dallas" Steve piped up

His eyes shot wide 

"WHAT? A DATE THAT WASN'T A PART OF THE PLAN-" He shouted

The rest of the guys all shrugged as they followed us to the Dingo

"WAIT JUST TO BE CLEAR YOU GUYS ARE JOKING RIGHT?" Dallas said 

"RIGHT?"
