Ponyboy- Under The Rain

"Hey Y/N!" The mailman said as you passed by him

You stopped eating your skittles as you waved back

"Oh hey Mr. Mark" you smiled

"Off To the Curtis'?" He asked

I nodded "Is it that obvious?" 

He laughed 

"Well once you start going 24/7 you kind of get the hint" 

I giggled

"So, I haven't seen you around these past few days, which was very unusual" He said 

I sighed

"Yeah, I've been REALLY busy with school, since finals are coming up I haven't had much time to spend with the boys- especially my boyfriend Ponyboy" I answered 

He chuckled- "That's right you guys are dating, how is it?" 

I nodded my head "It's amazing, but we haven't had much to spent together, every time I am free he's always busy, I kinda get the feeling he's doing it on purpose but I don't know, todays our 5 month anniversary and I wanna surprise him" I said 

"Oh- Good for you Y/N! well I better get going, mail sure ain't gonna deliver itself" 

I giggled

"Bye Mr. Mark!" I waved

"Bye Y/N- OH and Happy 1 month anniversary!" 

"THANKS!" I smiled

I continued walking down the path as the sky started getting grey, it was for sure going to rain, So I started walking faster until I reached the Curtis house. 

I opened the door and slammed it as the guys all smiled and yelled out "HAPPY 5 MONTH ANNIVERSARY" 

I laughed

"Awe you guys- you didn't have to do this" I said while going to hug them

"We Wanted to Y/N besides its your and Ponyboy's 5 month anniversary" Sodapop said 

I laughed

I stood on my toes while I scanned the room for Ponyboy

"Hey where's Ponyboy?" I asked 

The guys all looked at each other- 

"He's in his room, he hasn't come out all day" Darry piped up

I furrowed my eyebrows, 

"Okay Who want's cake!" Darry said while taking it out

All the guys cheered and rushed over to the table as I went up to Ponyboy's room. As I was about to open the door, I heard him talking to himself. 

I walked in just to see Ponyboy surrounded by at least 5 textbooks, 3 stacks of schoolwork, and pencils and pens scattered everywhere.

"HEY BABE!" I said while hugging him from behind 

It must of caught him off gaurd cause he flinched real hard 

"Oh Hey Y/N" he muttered

"So what ya doing?" I asked taking a seat on his bed

He didn't answer for a moment- instead had his eyes glued to his textbook

"Pony! hello!?" I repeated

He rolled his eyes

"Your a smart girl, what's it look like!" He fired

My eyes widened- it wasn't like Ponyboy to talk to me that way. I shook the thought out of my mind and continued onto the next subject.

"So, are you ready?" I asked

He glared at me 

"For?"

"Our date" 

"We have a date?" He asked 

I rolled my eyes

"Ponyboy please don't tell me you forgot!" I whined

He shook his head

"Y/N I'm sorry I'm busy right now" 

"YOU ALWAYS DO THIS PONYBOY!" I shouted

"OH REALLY Y/N, I ALWAYS DO THIS? MAYBE THINK ABOUT THAT MY WHOLE LIFE DOESN'T EVOLVE AROUND YOU! I GOT THINGS TO DO, AND OTHER PEOPLE DO BE WITH! SO JUST PLEASE"  He shouted back 

I stared at him, my throat was burning and my vision was getting blurry. I bit my lip for it to stop trembling but a tear slipped down my cheek. 

Ponyboy looked back at me, guilt in his eyes, you could tell he felt really bad.

"Y/N.." he began. 

"No- it's fine I get it.. not everything evolves around me! but I just really wanted to spend today together.." 

Before he could open his mouth or say anything I pulled out a scrapbook and threw it on the floor

"Happy 5 month anniversary" I muttered- as I opened the door the guys all fell on the floor- they were obviously eavsdropping.

"Ahem- W-we weren't listening" Dally muttered 

I nodded, tears slipping down my cheeks 

"Neither was he" I said running to the door 

I swung it open only to find it pouring outside, I didn't have a choice, I ran down the porch but I felt someone grab my wrist.

"Y/N!" Ponyboy shouted

"PONYBOY JUST LEAVE ME ALONE" I said trying to get out of his grip

"Y/N Please forgive me I didn't know I'm sorry okay!?" he yelled out 

I just stared at him- I couldn't believe after everything all he had to say was that he's sorry. 

"Y-Your sorry!?" 

He looked at me

I started laughing while stepping out on the road, the rain pouring harder

"Oh he's sorry, he's sorry!" 

"HE'S SORRY, HE'S SORRY HE'S SORRY!" I screamed causing Ponyboy to run towards me..

"HE'S SORRY HE'S SORRY HE'S SORRY HE'S SORRY! " I screamed louder, Ponyboy was in front of me, trying to hold me

"HE'S SORRY- HE'S SORRY SORRY MY ASS" I yelled while hitting his chest 

"Y/N Please stop.." He whispered- on the verge of tears, before I knew it he grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug while I cried in his arms..
