Osman led Goktug and Boran out of the tribe and into the woods after Savci Bey, following his tracks at a safe distance, Osman at the lead. He rode at top speed, determined to catch up with his older brother; Goktug and Boran followed behind loyally, not slowing down once.

They stopped at a fork in the road, where the earth was covered in countless Autumn leaves. Osman grinned as Goktug and Boran halted beside him, their horses whinnying. "It is time," he told them, looking to both his closest Alps one by one. Goktug and Boran both knew what he meant; they pressed their palms to their chests and rode off in opposite directions whilst Osman rode on through the path littered with Savci Bey and his men's tracks- they were both to go around and follow their Bey secretly whilst he were to negotiate with his older brother.

Goktug stopped his horse where he thought was necessary and tied her to a tree, before he carefully stalked off through the trees to find Osman and Savci. He had his bow out, and an arrow fixed; Osman had been very serious about what he wanted, to go and find Geyhatu- he was going to go to any lengths to do so, even if it meant fighting his own brother. Goktug and Boran were both secretly worried that there would be a rift between Savci and Osman, but they were more determined to fight for their tribe than they were concerned about the two brothers' relationship. They would do what Osman said without question.

It was not long before the pounding of Karayel's hooves against the ground came into earshot, and Goktug followed the sound devotedly- only to hear Karayel whinny in panic, and Osman cry out. His blood went cold; did Savci attack them? Could he possibly have known they were coming...? Nevertheless, Goktug continued through the bushes and shrubs until a group of Alps came into view, along with Savci Bey himself. He was relieved to see that Osman was fine, but his horse had just barely avoided a trap that clearly his brother had set for him. However the look on the youngest son of Ertugrul Gazi's face was unperturbed as his dark eyes locked with those identical to it, that belonged to his brother.

Savci Bey smirked at him mockingly, making Goktug's blood boil; "Hayirdir, Osman'im?" he asked. "Did you get yourself lost in the forest?" Osman smiled back good-humoredly, clearly hoping to have a good conversation with Savci. But he did not answer.

"Oh, Osman?" Savci persisted. "Where are your Alps? Are you really out here hunting alone?" "I said to myself that I cannot leave my brother alone in this hunt against the infidels," answered Osman, making Savci scoff. "So I came too. That is why I am here." "Ah, Osman, were you truly afraid that I would let the prey escape?" asked Savci, still smiling. "Which infidel could escape my brother?" Osman wondered aloud, complimenting Savci as he got down from his dark, glossy-skinned horse. At this point, due to the continuous smiles the two brothers were giving each other, Goktug was confused as to whether the conversation was going in a friendly manner or not, by what he saw from where he was hiding in the bushes. But he got his answer with what Savci said next, his smile finally faltering; "You will go back to the tribe, Osman."

"Agabey, let me come with you for this one," pleaded Osman. "You know you need me." "If our father thought it necessary, he would have given you a role in this duty as well," claimed Savci. "Don't you think, Osman?" "Allow me, Brother," Osman repeated. "Let us go and take Geyhatu on in his tent togeth-"

"His goal itself is to take your head!" Savci barked, taking Osman aback- though he kept a straight face and posture. "Agabey, I am afraid something will happen to you because of me!" he shot back. "This is my responsibility!" "And if something happens to you?" demanded Savci. Osman's gaze softened slightly. "How can I face our father if something bad happens to my little brother, because of me? Answer me, kardesim, how can I?" Osman stayed silent, obviously in thought.
