Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard

Lyria was frantically looking around for the books they had ordered by owl for the upcoming school year. They threw up the blankets on the floor up onto their bed. Lyria slumped down onto the ground and peered under the dark wood bed frame. Finally they spotted Defensive Magical Theory by Wilbert Slinkard. They snatched it and jumped up in victory. Just then, Blaise and Pansy walked in, covering their ears from the blasting music in the room. Blaise raised an eyebrow at Lyria while Pansy snickered. Finally noticing the pair's entrance, they wiped the ridiculous look off their face and smiled. Blaise walked over and turned down the volume on Lyria's phone. They looked over at him apologetically as he did so.

The trio quickly got to packing up the rest of Lyria's belongings for their next year of Hogwarts. Pansy tossed one of Lyria's lacy bralette over to Blaise. He caught it reflexively before blushing madly once he realized what it was. He quickly dropped it into their trunk before going into the bathroom to gather toiletries, only to start blushing again when Pansy shouted to him to pack the box of tampons under the sink. Lyria just shook their head at Pansy's mischief. After an hour of using teamwork to make up for Lyria's procrastination on packing, they all were done.

The trio picked up Draco on their way down to breakfast. Misty the house elf had prepared waffles, pancakes, eggs, muffins and toast for the send off of her favorite teenagers. Lyria had half a muffin under the watchful eye of Blaise before leaving to go say goodbye to their big sister.

"Bella!" They called through the door. It swung open and Lyria was immediately snatched into a bone-crushing hug. Even though Bellatrix was significantly shorter than them, she still managed to pick them up off the ground.

"Can't... breathe..." They said through squeezes. Bella reluctantly let them down, just to look at Lyria with tear filled eyes.

"I'm going to miss you Ly-Ly" she said emotionally. Lyria was quick to comfort her.

"Hey, hey, it's going to be alright. I'll write like all the time and I'll come home for Christmas and everything!" they said, hoping to reassure their big sister.

"Well you better!" She said, her mood picking up significantly.

Lyria made their way down to Tom's chambers after many more hugs from Bellatrix. They didn't even have to knock before his door was open and he pulled her into a hug. The hug had surprised them both but neither felt uncomfortable.

"I'll miss you," Lyria said into his shoulder. He didn't respond but simply squeezed tighter.

As Lyria was walking back to the kitchen, they spotted Lucius. They called out to him so that he would stop, giving Lyria a chance to catch up to him.

"What's wrong?" he asked, unsure of why Lyria had wanted to speak to him.

"Do you happen to have a niece? Fake tan and nasty attitude?" They asked with an amused smirk. Lucius rolled his eyes and let out an annoyed groan.

"For fuck's sake, what did she do now?" He asked. Everyone in Malfoy manor had picked up Muggle and American phrases since Lyria had been around.

"Ran into the bitch at a cafe, she didn't know how to respect her superiors." They said with hints of underlying anger.

"Yeah, she's my estranged sister's daughter. I despise the child." He said with a scoff. There was a look of pure disgust on his face.

"Huh, good to know," Lyria said with a small laugh. Lucius just smiled and the two made their way to the kitchen, where everyone else was waiting.
