Author's Note: I should probably mention how I came up with the name for this story. It's actually really simple; I used a translator, lol. I was messing around with the word "time" in other languages and found a translation that I liked right away. The company is called Jikanime (Romanized Japanese for the word "time" combined with the English version of the word but pronounced "eh-me" like "Anime") Motori (Italian for "engines") Inc (shortened version of "Incorporated"). So the preferred pronunciation of the company is "Jee-kahn-ah-me Ma-tor-ree."

He shoved his mouth into the giant glass bowl filled with vodka and apples. The taste of the alcohol was strong, but he knew needed to keep going or else the live stream viewers would disappear from the channel.

He spotted a green apple among the red ones, and with his teeth, grabbed a hold of it. With all of his strength, he lifted the apple out of the bowl and turned his head toward the other person who was filming the entire ordeal on a very expensive digital camera.

"Yeah! Okay, now take a bite," the person behind the camera said with a grin.

He removed the apple from his mouth, and took one large bite, wincing as the alcohol went down his throat with the bitterness of the green apple.

He raised his hand into a thumbs up sign which the cameraman reciprocated with an "okay" gesture.

"God, I hated doing that shit," he said in a huff as he took a long sip of cold water from the fridge.

The Sun was beginning to set now, and the fading pink of the sky could be seen through the kitchen window, along with the shadows on the counter surface.

Feeling relieved, he set the cup down and noticed his reflection in the oval mirror on the far side wall. He was a young man with beige skin, short black wavy hair, and hooded brown eyes.

"It was pretty dope, Andre. And look—"

The other guy showed him his phone.

"Everyone liked it, see?"

The other guy was another vlogger like him, albeit a little more popular with 700k followers. His name was Darin Kim, and he had a beige complexion, straight black hair tied into a small ponytail, and triangular brown eyes. He also had a goatee on his chin attached to the mustache on his lip.

Andre took his phone away from him.

At that moment, two other guys showed up in the kitchen from the hallway.

Between the two of them they had a tripod, duffel bag, and camera that they were both attempting to bring into the room.

The one carrying the camera was Jared Soriano and he was an online influencer who did most of his work filming and making cooking videos for his social media. He had brown toned skin, deep set brown eyes under thick framed square glasses, and dark brown curly hair.

Suddenly, a huge piece of the camera fell off and landed onto the tile floor.

"Are you frickin—"

Morgan Morita, the other one, sighed angrily and bent down to pick up the now broken piece from the floor.

He was neither a vlogger, nor an influencer, but an amateur film maker who had a couple cameos in his actor friends' movies. His beige skin had a slightly tanned appearance and his dark brown hair was styled into an undercut which brought out his prominent brown eyes.
