"What do you mean you never made a delivery?!"

The customer service person tried to remain calm, but it was only his second week on the job.

"Sir, I looked through our records, and there is no record of you getting a delivery last Monday or this Tuesday."

"This is ridiculous. I got a motorcycle! The freakin' thing changed into something else when I followed the instructions."

"One moment, sir, please."

The customer service person put down his head-set, got up from his chair, and walked over to the manager, who was busy sipping some water from a paper cup near the top loading water dispenser. He was also laughing with another man wearing a delivery uniform.

"Excuse me, sir?" The employee said as he approached him calmly.

"Trouble already? I hope you didn't forget your trained responses."

"I didn't, but...this one is tricky. This guy claims we made deliveries that we never made."

"Alright, alright. I'll take care of it," the manager replied confidently. He threw his cup into the wastebasket and walked right over to the new employee's chair and sat down.

He put the head-set on, and put on his best smile. Even though the customer would never see it, the smile worked wonders for faking confidence.

"Hello, sir? This is the manager. I understand you're having some issues?"

"Yes, I received a couple deliveries from you on the 19th and the 27th."

"And your name, please, sir?"

"Morgan Morita."

The manager checked the dates and the man's name on the computer to see if it was true.

It wasn't.

"Sir, there's no record of you getting any deliveries. Are you sure you're not confusing our company with another delivery company? There is more than one you know."

"No, I am a hundred percent sure your company delivered something to me." Morgan insisted. "If it helps, I think I remember the guy who delivered the last one."

"Oh. Well, please describe him to me."

"Let's see, he had neck-length blonde hair, tan skin, and... Oh! He had a beauty mark on his face."

"Uh-huh..."

The manager trailed off, probably thinking about who it could be.

"Oh!" He said with realization. "I know who you're talking about. One moment, please, sir."

The manager looked over and saw that the delivery guy in question was still near the water dispenser.

"Seth?"

The same employee that he had been laughing with earlier looked over at him.

"Yeah?"

"Come here."

Seth walked over silently with a grin.

"You good?"

"Did you make any deliveries to this address within the last three days? It's supposedly to a 'Morgan Morita'."
