~Chapter 11~

The tight grip on your arm from Childe scared you as he looked down. You gulp a ball of guilt as you look away from Childes glair
"So? What was it?" You stand up straight Childe still holding onto you with force.
"Ahh it nothing, I promise" you brush off his question while lying straight to his face. You give a slight laugh to break the silence after you spoke bringing Childe back to reality.
"You aren't cheating on me are you?" Childe frowns at his guess making you frown as well. You quickly shake you head smiling reassuring him you weren't cheating on anybody. Childe pulls you to the bed sitting you down letting go of the tight grip of his hand on your arm.
"Is there anything wrong? What did you hide that you can't tell me? Ever since this morning you seem stressed. Please tell me" Childe faces your direction looking you in your eyes grabbing both of your hands in his hands. He gives you a reassuring smile asking you to tell him everything. Stress started bubbling up inside of you as Childes question bothered you more. You shake your head getting up from the bed grabbing your few keys and bag.
"I'll be back" you leave the house Childe not stopping you as you walk through the streets of mondstat looking for one place. You stop in front of a house in a street that was familiar. You walk up the steps to the house as you stand in front of the door. You hesitate knocking until your hand was already pressed against the door. You stand for a couple of minutes until you hear shuffling in the house. The door opens as a girl greets you smiling
"Y/N!" The girl hugs you tightly as you grip against the stairs railing trying to not fall "ITS SO GREAT TO SEE YOU! WHATS UP!" The girl pulls you in doors as she sits you on the couch
" hey amber" you say bluntly as the stress of the baby is still there. The girl hands you a cup of tea as she excitedly sits on the ottoman next to you.
"So how's it going! I haven't talked to you in a while!" She smiles as she takes a sip of her drink
"I haven't seen you in a week that's not a while!" You joke back at amber as she playfully hits you making more of a laugh between you both. You both converse for a little bit till you remember what you where there for
"Uhm amber I need to tell you something." You say placing your empty tea cup on the coffee table politely. Amber raisers her eyebrows giving an enthusiastic 'what?' You breath out stressfully as your words spill out like water
"Uhm I've recently found out about something and I really need to tell someone about this and since your like one of my best friends I've came to you first." You hesitate to say the words until you push yourself "I'm pregnant" you look down at the floor in disbelief at what came out of your mouth as amber placed her tea cup on the table as well. She quickly hugs you tightly being careful with you.
"CONGRATS!" She let's go of her hugging smiling at you. "Wait! If I'm the first person to know... what about the father or..." you interrupt ambers question with putting your finger in front of her mouth.
"No... he... doesn't know." You feel embarrassed as amber gives a slight frown at you. She grabs your hand gently as you look up at amber
"I'll be there for you!" Amber stand up grabbing the tea cups as she goes her way to the kitchen cleaning up. You grab your bag quietly leaving amber as she was in the kitchen. You run out the door quietly quickly running down the stairs. She knew now. A smile grew on your face as you pass by street vendors running happily back home. You open the door with glee as you drop your bag on the table with glee. Somebody knew your secret. You smile all giddy as Childe comes out of your room looking at you.
"Why so happy princess?" Childe comes close as your giddiness fades as Childe swoops in for a kiss. He still didn't know anything about the pregnancy. You didn't want to hide it from him but you couldn't bear the secret. You smile telling him how you met up with amber avoiding everything about the pregnancy secret. You walk to your room quickly grabbing the papers and making your way to the bathroom without Childe knowing. You sit on the floor against the sink while reading the papers. Soon every happy sense leaked out around you. The baby. Option after option made you feel more detached. A knock on the bathroom door alarmed you. You stand up unlocking the door leaving the papers on the floor. You peak your head through the door as Childe smiles at you
"Is everything okay in there?" He opens the door wider letting himself in as he goes near the sink. Childe messes through the cabinet looking through pills to take until something caught his eyes. He averts his eyes to the corner of the bathroom as he walks over. He bent over until you realized, he found the papers. Your eyes widen as Childe reads the papers over confused. He looks towards you holding the papers
"What's this?" You act as if you knew nothing about them. You try grabbing the papers from his hands until he held them up high out of your reach. Still holding the papers he read them out loud.
"Being pregnant with a baby is a hard task for a woman but is an amazing memory." He read a full paragraph till he stopped as tears formed in your eyes. You try grabbing the papers as Childe held them still up high. Childe looks down at you confused as he lowers it giving it to you.
"Y/N is there something your really not telling me?" Childe brings you out of the bedroom sitting you down looking you in your eyes.
"Please tell me, if you want a baby I can't give you one it's just.. what's wrong?" Childe stops midway as you interrupt him
"I'm pregnant?"
