Childe x Reader

~Chapter 14~

     Childe nods rapping his arms around you holding tightly resting his head on yours.
    "Well if we can't do that, what about a nice date tonight. To get your mind off of it" Childe smiles softly kissing the top of your head loosening his hug. You hug Childe back giving a nod closing your eyes resting on Childe. He softly laughed as he lays down with you in hand laying you down comfortably. Intertwining his fingers through your hair he brushed through your hair making you fall asleep peacefully.

Hours pass while you where asleep until Childe slowly woke you up
     "Y/N honey, wake up. Remember our date?" Opening your eyes slowly Childe smiled as you rubbed your eyes. Childe grabbing your arms lifting you up and spinning you waking you up even more.
     "We have a date in like an hour and thirty so you might wanna get ready!" Childe smiled as he left the room closing the door softly. Walking though the bathroom your turn on the shower as steam quickly pours out. Stripping of your clothing you enter the shower washing your body with the soaps in your bathroom. After everything was washed you leave the shower grabbing a towel drying yourself off. Wiping off the mirror with you hand you start blow drying your hair until it was time to style it. Putting it in many styles you found the perfect style. (Opt. Grabbing your makeup you apply trying to make it perfect as possible). The bathroom door had a knock as you opened it to see Childe standing. Scratching the back of his head blushing a tad bit until he finally spoke
     "Babe we gotta leave in thirty minutes!" Childe warned you of the time as you quickly rushed pass him to the dresser grabbing an outfit that looked semi fancy, you throw on the clothing as you look in the mirror (Opt. You grab a few pieces of jewelry finishing the outfit). Walking out of the room with your shoes Childe sees you walking as he came close. Childe grabbed your your with his giving a quick kiss.
       "You look very pretty my darling" Childe stood in front if you smirking as he led you out of the house to the place he was taking you. Down the streets you both went down hand in hand as Childe brought you in a restaurant telling the person up front about your reservation. Being seated by the hostess you both looked through the menu looking for a dish for you two both too eat. Both of you ordered your food that was in the kitchen, Childe started to talk.
     "Y/N" grabbing your attention he continued on " I love you so much" blushing you say it back sounding embarrassed as Childe smiles bringing back your attention "you've made me so happy, the happiest I've ever been, it's just i don't know what else to say" you felt butterflies in your stomach rising. Before any reaction came out of you Childe grabbed your hands gently caressing them.
    "I just wanna ask, y/n, will you marry... me?" Childe pulled out a ring (your favorite color) out of his pocket holding it out to you. Every emotion came to you in a second as you heard Childes words and saw his actions. Tears came out of eyes seeing the color as you nod your head quickly grabbing the ring and sliding it onto your finger. Quickly getting up you hug childe as he stumbles in his chair a little. Childe hugged back tightly as you feel him crying on your shoulder. Wiping your tears with your free hand as you felt your shoulder getting wet from Childes tears. You let go looking at Childes face as he smiles while tears running down his cheeks, wiping them away you kiss Childe on the forehead sitting back down. As you sat down the waitress came with both of your foods placing them down immediately leaving afterwards. Grabbing your utensils you dug into your food as Childe did the same, both of you happy. Before the waitress came back around to check on you both Childe finished his plate satisfied with his food until you finished a few minutes after him. The waitress came back around grabbing your plates surprised with how fast both of you finished. Leaving with the plates Childe started small talking with you
     "Wanna get desert sweetie?" Childe asked grabbing his wallet full of mora till you shook your head avoiding another meal. Childe called the waitress to give her mora till he unexpectedly changed his answer
    "Before we leave we'd like 2 [enter desert here] please!" Childe said smiling at the waitress politely, her leaving with a small blush on her face making you jealous. You look back at Childe a tad bit angry.
    "Why did you order me dessert? I said no." You pouted in your chair exaggerating as Childe smiles touching your arm softly
    "Cmon! I knew you'd want dessert and besides, they have the best desserts in teyvat here!" Childe continued chatting till the waitress came back with your desserts. Hesitantly stabbing the dessert with your utensil you took a bite out of it scared until the sweet flavor filled your mouth as you opened your eyes wide. Childe smiles at your reaction taking bites out of his while you feast into yours. Clearing your plate of food Childe called over the waitress giving her mora for both of your dinners and desserts. Standing up Childe grabbed your hand intertwining his with yours as he led you outside of the restaurant back home. Passing by the other stores on the street Childe turned his body towards you putting his hands on your waist.
     "I love you y/n" Childe leaned in kissing you passionately as the moon light and stars shone in the night sky
