My Guardian Demon GxG (Sequel)

CHAPTER 4

Angel's POV

We were already half time through the final match and the score was close. 20-21 we were winning of course and I guess Luci girl was mad about it. Sam was so good she'd almost save all the balls, I noticed she can do dives more and I think Luci noticed that as well.

She was about to spike the ball and me and another girl jumped to block her but the ball went between our arms and hit Sam right in the face which sent her sliding back. I looked at Luci and she was smirking and went giving high fives to her teammates. I ran next to Sam who had blood all over her face, she was holding her nose and her eyes were starting to tear up.

"Get her out of the court and let's finish this!" I heard her annoying voice say sarcastically. I couldn't help but walk towards her. She just smirked and crossed her arms.

"You should be fuckin apologizing to her instead of being a dick!" She just walked closer to me and tried to intimidate me with her height again.

"What are you gonna do about it little girl?" She whispered, I didn't even realize but Luci was already on the floor holding her nose but I didn't care I tried to go for more. I felt someone pick me so I won't hit her again, I was angry and panicked because those words reminded me of him. I didn't know what was happening, I think I was having a panic attack.

"Come on let me touch you little girl, you're gonna love it" his voice was ringing in my ears, i wanted to throw up, I wanted to crawl in a hole and suffocate just so I can keep his voice out of my head. I can remember the feel of his hands on my body as I struggled under him begging him to let me go.

"Hey shhh it's okay" I heard a soft voice whisper in my ear, I stopped shaking and just cried hysterically on Lucia's shoulder. She was gently rubbing my back, I felt myself calm down but at the same time I was losing conscious.

I woke up with a killer headache and I couldn't help but groan holding my temple. I opened my eyes and Luci was sitting on her bed with her head in her hands. She looked spaced out until she heard me move on the bed. Her eyes looked at me but this time they were different. She gave me a guilty smile and walked next to my bed. She gave a bottle of water and some pills from her drawer. I swallowed the pills and put the bottle on the nightstand.

"Angel I- I'm sorry I-"

"You should be saying that to Sam since you broke her nose" I rolled my eyes and tried to get up but my legs gave up on me, I felt arms wrap around my waist. I looked at her and her face close to mine, her soft hair was slowly falling off of her shoulder touching my face. I noticed a small bruise on her jawline and I unconsciously let my fingers caress it. I must've hit her hard, I smirked internally.

   I felt her minty breath on my lips, that's how close she was. Her plump lips were slightly parted but it didn't last long since she cleared her throat and backed away. I saw a small pink shade on her cheek and I gently got out of her grip and tried to go to the bathroom so I can take a quick shower.

"You should rest" she whispered going back to her bed like nothing happened, like her arms weren't wrapped around me, like I didn't notice her blush when I stared at her lips. Wait? I was staring at her lips? No I wasn't.

"Yeah I'll just shower quickly and I'll be back" why was I telling her what I'm going to do, this is weird. Why was she nice to me all of a sudden.

"Okay" I heard her whisper before I closed the door, I leaned against the sink and stared at my reflection. My hair was a mess and I looked tired. I sighed and took off my clothes and sat on the shower floor with the water running over me.

"Stop!" I was screaming but he just smirked, the scar on his face haunted me. I did it, I scarred his face and these were the consequences.

"P-please get off me!"

"Angel!" I opened my teary eyes and Luci was in the shower with her clothes on kneeling next to me, she had concern in her eyes. At the moment, I didn't care that I was naked and I don't think she cared either. I leaned my head against the wall and avoided her gaze. She stopped the water from soaking both of us and grabbed a towel.

"Angel? Can I pick you up?" She asked me, I was too exhausted to use words so I nodded my head. I felt her arms wrap around me and I was lifted off of the floor. I put my head on her shoulder and just let her take me to bed. She dried my hair and some spots on my body without looking at me.

"Are capable of changing? Or you want me to help you?" She asked looking at the ground, since she picked me up she didn't look at me or my body. She was avoiding it, I pointed to the closest with a small smile. She nodded her head and she grabbed me a hoodie, underwear and shorts. She turned around so I can put my underwear and then I asked her to help me put my hoodie on.

When I was done she stood there awkwardly and backed away to her bed.

"Wait..." I whispered, she turned and looked at me confused.

"C-can you stay?" I asked her feeling a deep blush on my face. she nodded her head and told me she'll just change out of her wet clothes and she'll be back.

I turned on my side facing the wall, everytime I closed my eyes I see his face and I'll open my eyes. I was pretty sure I'll have sleepless nights now that I remember those events. 

I felt a body lay next to mine but it was a little far. I sniffled and she sighed, I smiled as I felt her get closer and I turned towards her and laid my head on her chest. I felt her arm hesitantly wrap around me, a few minutes later I felt myself slip into darkness.
