Fai only has 5 tattoos and promised to stop there. All the tattoos she has are incredibly small so it would be impossible for others to see no matter what type of clothes she's wearing. Fai made it clear that her tattoos are personal and so she doesn't want anyone to see them but herself. Knowing that she's the only person that can see her tattoos gives her a lot of comfort.

Fai's first tattoo, placed on her right rib, is incredibly personal. It's known that the reason why Fai became an idol is because she watched a Shinee concert. Sometime in 2017, Jonghyun wrote Breathe with Fai in mind after she opened up to him about her struggles that the idol life was not how she expected and she was lacking motivation, she expressed that she no longer has any hopes or dreams. When Jonghyun presented the song to Fai, he wrote her a letter, the letter had the quote "I still dream for you" written in english. Breathe is one of Fai's most successful songs, however, Fai does not perform it anymore as she doesn't feel comfortable to do so.

There is no real significance for this tattoo. Fai just thought that getting a tattoo on her lower back would be really nice. Though the tattoo is really pretty and aesthetically pleasing, Fai lowkey feels like the tattoo is a tad bit desperate. The only person who really sees the tattoo is Mark, he thinks the tattoo is cute but could have been thought through more, but he thinks that Fai will slowly start to love it.

On the left rib, Fai got the tattoo "one day at a time" Fai got this tattoo after she went through a rough patch in 2020. Specifically when hers and Marks relationship got out to the public, Fai's mind was all over the place. She was extremely overwhelmed and all she could remember was her mother telling her to take it one day at a time.

Fai got this tattoo at the beginning of 2020. She knew she wanted to have something relating to her idol life and destinies as they're a significant part of her life. Fai decided that there would be nothing better than tattooing Destiny's fan logo to represent them. She decided to get the tattoo on left side of her side boob.

Fai's most recent tattoo, which she vowed would be her last is a tattoo, she got with her four other friends Renjun, Jeno, Haechan and Jaemin. They got the tattoo for fun to mark their friendship, each person decided to get it in different places. Fai was running out of spots where it would be unseen so she opted to get the tattoo on her left hip.
