"Today's guest isn't an NCT member," Taeil started.

"But she very much feels like it though," Haechan said.

"I'm sure the intro was more than enough to figure it out. Fai come on in."

"Hi," Fai waved while attempting to sit on the terrible bean bag that was provided, "I love what you guys are wearing today."

"Thank you, the shade of blue is really nice."

"Did you guys know that the colour of the year, is the shade of blue you're wearing. Cool isn't it?"

"Hold on," Taeil put his hand out, "Did they tell you to say that?"

"No... But we probably should talk about why I'm sat here."

"Our Fai, she's done it again. She wrote another hit and it got picked up on this album." Haechan announced.

"Yes, My Everything that has Renjun, Xiojun and myself was written by Fai," Taeil continued, "Do you want to introduce the song to us."

"Yeah," Fai paused, "My Everything contains a minimalist composition that features vocals by Taeil, Xiaojun and Renjun on a calm piano melody."

"Are you reading off a script?"

"No, I memorised the script."

"Did you write this song while thinking about someone in particular?" Taeil asked.

Fai automatically answered, "No."

"Are you sure?" Haechan pressed on, "You didn't even think about it."

"I don't need to. Seriously, the song came out of nowhere. I wrote it with someone who goes by the name NIve, I'm sure you all know him: He was on Superstar K, he wrote a bunch of songs including Beautiful Goodbye by Chen. Anyways, we spent a few days writing together and this is one of the songs. We didn't write the song with any group in mind, we just sent the song out and it's honestly a big coincidence it got picked up by SM for your album."

"Can you just give us a rundown on how the song came to be?" Haechan asked.

"So, I composed the song. Honestly, I did this piano track for a class, which I obviously didn't submit. I presented the track to NIve, all it took from him is to hear upto the intro and the lyrics came flowing. It took us two hours to finish the song and that includes: Writing the lyrics and recording the demo."

"Wow that's amazing."

"NIve is amazing," Fai said, "I don't want people to think it's all me, honestly a large majority of the credit goes to him and I'm grateful to have written with and learnt from him."

"I have to admit, I think this is one of my favourite songs to date, but one of the hardest to record." Taeil admitted.

"The song is really simple lyrically and sonically, there's nothing that particularly stands out. But to make a song so simple sound good, it's a bit complicated," Fai continued to speak, "To be honest, I was a bit worried with who the song would end up with. When I heard it was you guys, I felt such a sense of relief. I knew that if there was any group that would do this song a favour, it would be you guys."

"You know," Haechan spoke up, "I think a lot of people will resonate with the song, especially nowadays where due to unforeseen circumstances we're separated from our loved ones."

"The lyrics are meant to convey a sense of gratitude and appreciation for someone who means the world to you. I'm really thankful to have the experience of writing this specific song. It just showed to me that the best creations are the ones that flow naturally without overthinking and My Everything is a testament to that."

"Oh you're here!" Mark yelled as he came over quickly, "No one told me."

Mark caressed Fai's hair. She looked up to him, smiling, "I'm still getting interviewed."

"Oh sorry," Mark stepped back, "Carry on."

"No please," Taeil put his hand out, "Don't let us stop you."

"Hyung come sit, join in on the interview." Haechan pointed to the emptiness next to Fai.

"Is it okay?" Mark asked the managers stood behind the camera who nodded. Mark then looked at Fai who nodded as well, "This is like my forth time doing this today."

"You guys must've started shooting really early," Fai commented.

"We've been here since noon," Taeil said.

"Really? But I bet you're going to be here all night, there's so many of you," Fai trailed, "Wait how is it shooting with 23 people?"

"You know what," Taeil started to say, "It's actually way easier than you'd think it is."

"Really? How come?"

"You know... We all get along but we all share the same goal and that makes us move faster."

"Is the goal to get everything done fast so you can go home?"

Taeil couldn't help but laugh at Fai, "I can't even lie, that is the goal."

"So guys," Haechan crossed his legs leaning forward, "Who liked who first? Who confessed? The people are dying to know. I feel like Mark confessed first."

Fai leaned forward towards Haechan whispering, "You're not funny."

"I guarantee you that the mic picked up on what you said." Haechan said causing Fai to shrug, "Come on, you've been together for two years and the public don't know how you ended up together."

Taeil suddenly clapped, "I know what the people really want to know."

"What is it?"

Taeil turned to his right, asking Haechan, "Do you want to be treated the same age as Mark like Fai does?"

"I'm not even kidding, that's my life goal," Haechan answered.

"Your goals should be realistic," Fai muttered.

"Fai and I have a special relationship," Mark answered, he stayed silent expecting a response.

"Carry on, you still didn't make a point," Taeil said.

"Personally for me, I don't want her to speak with any formalities. It just wouldn't work in the relationship we have."

Haechan shook his head, "Don't say that because she has been speaking casually since before you guys started dating."

"Right now," Fai spoke up looking at Haechan, "You're literally arguing for the sake of it."

"Okay let me put it this way," Mark started to explain, "Fai and I speak in English to each other. and it's always been each other. Wouldn't it be weird if she threw in words for the sake of formality?"

"So if you guys are considered same-age in a Korean context. Is Fai '99 or is Mark '00 liner?"

"Please be the latter," Haechan prayed.

"Neither." Mark answered, "Some relationships are formed from the age difference. But you know, Taeil hyung and I can become same-aged friends as well if you really think about it."

"I don't want that." Taeil said.

"Maybe we should just move on?" Fai suggested, "What's your next question that's actually relevant to the interview."

"Oh we're done for today." Taeil said, "So leave."

"Leave?" Fai repeated.

"Yep, leave," Haechan pointed.

Fai was more than happy to hear them say that, no cringy outro needed. Mark stood up and put his hand out to help Fai up.

"I confessed first," Fai said before leaving the shot. At least she ended the interview with a bang.
