As the sun rose completely, the warmth of its rays covered my face. Ah, now I feel awake. It's inhuman to wake up as early as I did.
'Nobody should be up and working before sunrise.' I thought to myself.
Eren interrupted my thoughts with a weak, playful punch to the arm.
"C'mon, let's get going. We've got training again today, remember?" He said.
I rolled my eyes and sarcastically replied, "What? No... I thought we didn't have training today like we have every single other day."
Eren glared at me, but I just erupted with laughter. Eren's straight face twisted until he couldn't remain stern any longer and he was swept away by my laughter. After joining in my laughter fit, Eren grinned and said,
"Oh my gosh. haha Your laughter is so adorable, it's contagious."
He lifted his arm and chuckled into it, still recovering from laughing.
Meanwhile, I just sat and stared at the floor. I could feel my face burning red.
'What kind of feeling is this? It's not like I haven't been called cute before... My extremely short stature is the reason I've been called cute far too many times. I don't even find it a very flattering compliment... So why am I burning up right now?!'
I've never blushed so hard before so I was completely clueless as to how I should handle this situation. I quickly laughed off and disregarded his comment before excusing myself. I gave some lousy excuse about urgent work I must do right at this moment. At least I successfully fled the scene, but what will I do when Levi notices my face this red? I must calm down before continuing today's activities...
