One night, the silver didn't shine so valiantly upon his crest
One knight, whose pain he held deep inside his chest
The might of a warrior weighs heavy on his sword
The light he protects for the sake of a lazy low lord
How bright the smiles of the people he keeps from frowns
Violent fights stage through the lands to empower the crown
Dark blights shroud his morals as night becomes the new day
New heights he climbs to reach the heavens in between the stars
Old frights remind the warrior hell is always close and never too far
Tall sights on the horizon, now it's time to become stronger
How tight he holds onto the light, but for how much longer?
The knight's armor, now shattered bares his heart proudly
His rite, even with no guard for his heart, he fights for chivalry
No plight can stop a warrior whom the darkness itself tested
A knight in shattered armor knows he can never be bested
