When in love, the heart takes over the skull
Raw emotion overpowers my thinking making it null
Turning me from a witty non-caring guy
to a clueless vessel with heart eyes
My mouth stutters to find proper words to speak
love tackles all my demons in me making them weak
My head consist of remembering what you love
Your favorite movies, snacks, songs, all of the above
Emotions rattle the butterflies from my stomach into my skull
All I can think is, without you how am i whole?
You make me stupid and I love that
Wasn't struck by an arrow, but smacked with a baseball bat
Leaving me stumbling through my words as my brain is in a daze
Trying to find my thing about you is like running through a maze
First it's your eyes the center of your skull and the center of my universe
If looks could kill your stare would send me in a hearse
Then it was your hair how it flows from the top, ignoring gravity
Full of color, beauty, and vitality
Love gave me a concussion and left me dreaming
I have to be dreaming because you're too appealing
Death is represented by a skull, and to love is to love death
For love shuts your brain off and overcomes everything until there's nothing left
There's beauty in death to be overwhelmed by pure love
Emotions wear our skull and all that's inside like a perfect glove
Controlling our whole existence, life is never dull
when you let emotions take over your skull
