Lonely Road

I walk this road alone. A trail into the unknown. With nobody by my side and nowhere to run and hide. I walk this road alone.
Facing my fears and putting my regrets behind me. Turning towards higher ambitions and learning how to live life. I walk this road alone.
I use to want somebody to walk beside me with their hand in mines. A friend or a love, but I walk this road alone.
No amount of hazardous pain will make me change my mind. I'll walk this road until I find the light inside.
Those who walk with me won't be here long. They always trail off to their own destinations. And I'll walk alone.

Forward
Consently moving forward.
I refuse to look back and want more. I'm moving forward, I'm opening new doors.
Though the sky may rain and the sun may faint.
I'll push forward I'll live my life. I'll walk this road alone.
