Chapter 3: Remember

"I had so much fun with Kevin! He is single. Fuck all the other details." Samantha goes on, and on about her crush. I didn't want to hear about it today.

"That's good." I reply simply. I was overcrowding my head with thoughts of Jesse.

Should I break up with him?

Would I seem like a bitch if I did?

How can I end this nicely?

"Earth to Alice!" Samantha's hand flings across my face, and I turn to her.

"Sorry. I'm just thinking."

"About what?" She tilts her head.

"If Jesse is really the one for me. I mean he's sweet, but I have a major crush on that Angel guy." I look down at my fiddling thumbs.

"You need to figure it out on your own. There is no advice for this."

"You're right." I sigh.

"Stop thinking now, let's head off to Korean." Samantha starts to walk towards the class, and noticed Kevin. Of course she participated in small talk. I walked pass them, and Kevin greets me.

"Hey Alice! Did you study the textbook?" He smiles. I saw Samantha getting a tad annoyed.

"Yes a bit. I got to go to class." I smile at him.

"No come chat with us." He suggest. Samantha's eyes told me not to talk to him.

"No I can't. Maybe later." I smile, and head into the class.

I saw Angel sitting alone looking at his textbook. I decide to walk on over to him. Maybe now I'll finally ask him for his name.

"Hey again." I wave. He lifts his hand up to wave back, but his eyes doesn't leave the textbook.

I sat down next to him. "I'm Alice, what's your name?" I smile lending out my hand for a handshake.

"Angel." He replies. My jaw drops. This is really him?! I knew it. I tuck my hand away seeing as he is way too occupied to even look at me.

"Do you remember me?" I decide to ask.

"No." His head lifts up from the textbook, and he stares at me.

"Come on. There aren't many girls with pink hair."

"Hmm." He places his index, and thumb on his chin, and the side of his lip curves. He's thinking. So cute.

"I was that girl crying on the bench, and you gave me a chapstick." I blush remembering our sweet memory.

"Oh yeah!" He replies. "That winter I think." He forms a small grin.

"Yes! That's the one! I tried contacting you, but I couldn't get a hold of you." I frown.

"That's because I moved to Korea shortly after."

"But you said you aren't Korean." I chuckle.

"Half. My dad is Korean, and mom is Japanese. Weird mix. I know." He shrugs.

"It's a beautiful mix. Haven't seen a hybrid like you." I giggle.

"Suppose so." He nods. He doesn't smile much. I bet he looks so handsome when he smiles now.

"So what is your Korean name?"

"Sun Min Yun."

"Beautiful name." I smile happily.
