taehyung dabs his face with a towel as he walks out of the bathroom towards the bedroom.

he closes the door which happened to be open. it was closed? when he left.

he couldn't remember. he sighs, throwing the towel onto the bed, a small smile on his face.

within the short time he had had his children with him, they brightened up his world.

he walked to the cribs, tears of mixed emotions making his eyes water.

"my babies. thank you. for being here. eight of you are... by far the best thing that has happened to me. the eight of you- wait. where's one of the girls?"

he looks around the room. maybe he left her on the bed and went to take a bath? he hurries to the towel, throwing it on the ground.

no sight of a baby.

he runs out of the room, his eyes frantically searching the apartment for his female child.

"baby! where are you?" taehyung cries, the tears falling freely from his eyes. "oh god. have i been a bad parent? where is my child?" he says, wiping his eyes as he  searches for his phone.

holding the number two on speed dial, th familiar display lights up.

"hello! help me please!" he cries, "I can't find my daughter!" he screams into the phone as it falls to the ground, a pup coming out from under the couch.

"oh my god. oh my god!" taehyung says, running towards the child as he picks her up in his arms and nuzzling into the soft fur.

"my baby. what happened?" he questions, kissing the pups nose and examining her for any signs of injury.

"you're safe. oh god. how did you get out? did i leave the door open?" he questions the pup who whines as the front door opens, taehyung's mates entering the house.

the pup jumps out of taehyung's arms as she runs towards the new males, staring at them, her brown eyes captivating them.

"hey little one." jungkook says as he squats, picking her up. jeongguk reaches over into jungkook's arms, caressing the pup's fur.

"did you shift? huh?" jeongguk asks, booping her nose,a small smile on his face.

taehyung from a corner of the room, small smile in his face as he watches a part of his family having an interaction.
