I actually didn't know where this was going and I only knew once I read it.

Title: How It Was

You looked at Tanjiro while scowling, clearly not happy about what he had just done.

All five of you are now in the Wisteria Mansion, tired after having just encountered an ex lower moon earlier in the day. You had spent the afternoon burying bodies and so did they, maybe except Nezuko and the new boy that joined in the group called Inosuke.

Now, back to why you're mad at him. You see, he let out Nezuko in front of the others hence why Zenitsu's running around, obviously simping for her already.

You tried to catch the blonde while Tanjiro stood I'm front of his sister, arms open wide as if defending her.

'That's right.'

"Zenitsu! Stop running around and most importantly, stop bothering Nezuko!" you yelled before grabbing the collar of his clothing, making him tumble back.

"But she's so adorable an—"

"I know now stop!" you yelled again.

Tanjiro smiled at you but you didn't bother returning it. He had let Zenitsu see Nezuko and now, you thought that Nezuko might've taken a liking to him.

You only wanted Nezuko to like you and her brother, but not the others. Especially not Zenitsu.

The said blonde just kept on pestering Nezuko, looking dreamy as hell. Nezuko however, she just looked at him with those cute little eyes of hers, not understanding what he's doing.

You simply walked over to Nezuko and sat down beside her while Inosuke headbutted her brother.  You didn't mind it though. Serves him right for showing Nezuko to them.

"How are you felling Nezuko?" you asked her, patting her head.

"Hmm hmm!" she hummed, making you smile and look away.

Although you didn't understand her, it was quite clear that she's fine. She turned smaller and made her way to sit on your lap, much to your surprise. You just let her be, of course.

She slowly took one of your hands and put it on top of her head, moving it gently as if to say 'pat me'. You obliged with a smile, looking straight at her orbs.

Tanjiro just looked at the both of you and so did Zenitsu, Inosuke already looking like he's about to fall sleep.

"The stars looks so nice tonight, right Nezuko?" you smiled.

She nodded, looking at you as she did so. You continued patting her head, not paying attention to anyone in the room but her.

"Someday, when you get cured, we'll go on a date together! Everyday!" you exclaimed happily, hugging her in the process.

"HMMPH HMM!"

She now has a prominent blush on her features, looking up at the sky.

"And we'll go on trips together. Just the both of us." you whispered, not really audible near her brothers direction.

Zenitsu just sniffed in a corner, feeling like he's already defeated.

You didn't mind him, as long as you have Nezuko all to yourself.

Nezuko stood near someone's grave, looking at it as if though she got betrayed. The flowers she brought had been placed right in front of it, tears threatening to spill on her face.

"I'm finally normal again, (Y/N)." she happily spoke, wiping the tears that were now rolling down her cheeks.

"I'm still waiting for the date you promised... And you said you'll be back but, why didn't you?"

'It's fortunate enough that we met. It's unexpected but, maybe this is where we part ways?'

On a completely unrelated note, would you guys like some christmas specials with one or two of the characters?

It's still too early, I know. But I just like the thought of spamming y'all with new chapters in Christmas Time which is like months away.
