A/n:
So at school when I'm walking through the hallways all my friends tell me I look internally dead. I am but I would never tell them that in a serious time so it would get through their thick skulls. So it's Sunday and if you saw my announcement that I made earlier today then you would see what happened. I think there gonna be worried cuz I can't make my voice sound happy anymore and they haven't ever seen me cry for real. Also I think they might start saying I look like a walking corpse. Anyways we're going to ignore my current mental stability and that I cried for 2 hours straight last night and get on with the chapter.
Y/n pov:
We woke up the next morning and moved to a hill near lionas and we could see the whole kingdom from there
"This view it amazing" I said as I stood next to meli my wings closed on my back. We were the only ones outside and maybe even the only ones awake at all.
"So is this one" meli said as his face was up my butt
"PERV!" I punched him on the head
"the view is very pretty y/n" he said as we stood there, he had a bump on his head as he looked out and I stood to his right
"We better start breakfast" I started to walk back into the tavern and meli followed. I was still in my pajamas. I walked inside and saw Diane, gowther, Merlin, Elizabeth, and hawk.
"Morning you two" Elizabeth said cheerfully greeting me and meli as we walked in
"Morining to all of you to" I replied back
"The ceremony is today" I said as we were all eating breakfast
"Do you guys know where king and ban are?" Diane questioned the absence of the two
"They took off yesterday" I simply said
"Those jerks, without even saying bye" Diane huffed
"Is someone upset because their crush fled them without saying bye~" I joked knowing full well that they had a crush on each other
"What?! Am not!" She yelled
"Tell that to king~" i cooed teasing her
"Settle down you two" Merlin said
"Ya, it's obvious to all of us that you guys have a thing for each other" meli said
"Captain" Merlin shamed meli
"Ok, the ceremony is in 2 hours so we need to get ready" meli took charge of the situation
"Ok, I'm gonna go get changed" I said as I left the table to go upstairs
"Me too" Diane said
"I'll come too than" Elizabeth said
"I'm going back to my lab" spoke merlin, "your coming to gowther" she then teliported herself and gowther
"Guess I'm stuck cleaning up" meli was alone in the main room with hawk scarfing down leftovers
*timeskip to the ceremony brought to you by cactus juice, it's the quenshiest because why not quote sokka?*
"This award is for the eight deadly sins and their faithful helper, scraps disposal?" The king announces
"Captain of scraps disposal" Elizabeth whispered in his ear
"Captain of scraps disposal. We could not have saved the kingdom with put them"
"Objection!" Meli yelled "the eight deadly sins shouldn't get one metal!... at least that's what some of you are thinking" he stated with confidence. Their was a bit of grumbling and then the pleadease of the assures sky came up
"I would like to see a display of the eight deadly sins power. We were placed on a far outpost of the kingdom by the two former grand masters and didn't see your battle with the grand- no, those two imposters." The knight said
"Ok then, I'l-" I cut off meli
"I'll demonstrate" I volunteered "I was the one who played a big role in this whole ordeal in all" I was confident, I knew I could do this
"I'll go then" a tall hunchback brute looking man stepped forward
"Don't hurt him too bad y/n!" Diane raised her voice a bit
"Don't mess with him too much" meli yelled
"Don't worry, I'll try to hold back" I smirked after I said that getting in a slight fighting stance.
"Whatcha gonna do little girl? Play dolls with me?" He said
"Oh don't worry, it'll be more fun than that, for me at least" he started charging at me and I jumped up and landed on his shoulders and pushed him down to the ground as I jumped off of him. He got up
"Is that all you can do little kid?" He spoke
"I'm not that little!" I yelled getting angry as he ran toward me and I created a fire tornado with little effort and he went flying and splat back down in front of his squad members. It looked like the other people around me felt a weight of magical power on them
"I'm sorry, he recently lost his best friend in that battle and isn't taking it so well" the one that spoke earlier said "I guess if that was all it took to to defeat those fools than they weren't even fit for the position in the first place" he spake again then meli spoke
"Actually, they would have chewed up and spit right out guys like you" he spoke
"My apologies. I guess the eight deadly sins are cracked up to what they are, huh?" He said as he walked away carrying the other guy slung across his shoulder
"Now that we have that finished" the king then awarded us all with the metals
"Well what do we do with these?" Elizabeth asked looking and ban and kings metals
"Guess we hold onto them for now" meli spoke
"This just goes to the respect the order of scraps disposal deserves" I heard hawk say and we walked out of the castle walls and started walking back to the tavern, a minute or two later I heard my name and saw a shocked hawk, Merlin, and gowther. As I heard a power level being said
"Yes, during the attack y/n's power level jumped to 5,000 and is currently resting at 4,680" gowther said
"That-thats even more powerful than Merlin" Hawk stuttered
"Ya, and I'm suppressing my magical power right now" I said to hawk
"What would happen if you didn't?" Hawk said
"Well then you would feel what you felt a few minute ago when that guy called me little" I smiled
"Ya, don't get on y/n's bad side, it won't end well for you" Hawk said. I walked next to to meli when it hit, the seal breaking on the coffin of eternal darkness. Me and meli got serious. The ground shaked, I felt darkness and I heard the yelling of the others for us to snap out of it
"Their back" meli said
"We need to do something about it" I said back
A/n:
Ok, that seems like a good stopping point for this chapter. I got my wig for my nezuko Halloween costume that I'm going to wear to the convention they have in my town in The summer. That was really good to me and the plot is going to start to diverge from the anime in a few chapters probably so have a good day/ night (I still don't stalk you)
