Crazy for my best friend's dad

Chapter 9:

~Ness' POV~

Me and Max were watching a film together and his phone suddenly rang..
He picked it up, talked to someone and his face turned white as his eyes snapped wide open looking at me.
He nodded and told the person he would be there.
He hung up the phone and told me he would be back later. Just like that he got up and walked fast out of the house.
I heard the door open and saw Cam carrying Vince as they walked over to me.
They knew about me and Max, but my parents don't.
And I don't think they would like it not even a tiny bit.
"Wassup sis" Cam greeted me putting Vince in my lap. Vince turned around, hugged me and placed a sloppy kiss on my cheek. I smiled at him.
"Hey bro's" I greeted them.
"I saw Max speeding away, what's wrong with that dude?" Cam asked
"I don't know, he received a phone call and immediately went" I said, shrugging.
"Well, I'll be in my room" Cam said
"Ight" I replied. Looking down at Vince.
"What do you want to do, baby?" I asked him
"I dwon't kwon" He said in his cute baby voice.
"What about we go to get some ice-cream?" I suggested.
"Yess yess" And he started bouncing up and down, happily.
I loved to see him happy, it made me happy.
"Well let's go then" I said grabbing my car keys and purse and my phone.

~Max POV~

As I was speeding down to the police office. I still couldn't believe she's here, she's back. Oh my God!
How would Melanie react, how would Ness react!
God! Please help me, I thought putting a hand onto my forehead.
I loved Ness so fucking much and I really don't want to lose her but with her back, it means I'm still married after all, since they didn't declare her dead.
I arrived at the police station, I got out and walked in.
"Good afternoon" The lady at the front desk greeted me.
"Good afternoon ma'am, I was called by Officer Davidson" I told her
"Mr. Callaghan?" She asked and I nodded
"Yeah, officer Davidson is waiting for you. It's the first office on your right as you go into that hallway.." She said pointing.
"Thank you" I said, walking to where I should be.
I knocked on the door and opened it when a voice said "Come in"
I walked in and saw her..
She turned around and looked at me. We were practically staring at each other.
"Mr. Callaghan?" The officer asked
"Yeah" I said, looking at him.
"Officer Davidson" He said.
I nodded.
"So this is the woman we found" He said "Do you know her?"
"Yeah, it's my wife.. Beatrice." I said, lowly.

A/N: Yeah this one is short too but yeah.. The struggles I have with the computer because I can't type fast on it, while I'm used to type fast on my laptop and it's really irritating me,  gives me no taste to write on it.

But good news.. Laptop went to get fixed.. Long chapters coming soon.
