CHAPTER 20: COURAGE

Two days later.

"Oi, Chifuyu. Are you sure about what you wrote? I don't think that's gonna help him." I whispered as we walk inside our hideout.

"Of course! I have faith in him." He determinedly replied to which made my sweat drop.

We, admins of Toman, gathered all together in our hide out to discuss about what happened between Takemitchy and the Black Dragons. I leaned on a post that is at Mikey's left side which also makes me hidden from Kisaki and Hanma's side.

"Enter." Mikey commanded Takemitchy and Hakkai to come in. Everyone started discussing things and even accused Hakkai for being a spy.

"Oi Hakkai. Are you acting as a spy for the Black Dragons?" Of course Mucho is the one who is adding heat on Hakkai about spying since he is the 5th division captain. Takemitchy tried to halt Mucho from accusing Hakkai, but he didn't listen.

"Calm down, Mucho. We have to hear Hakkai's side before you accuse him of anything else." I butted in which made him listen since my rank is higher than his.

"I won't make any excuses. Hate me, beat me, do whatever you want. As his little brother, I'm prepared for the consequences. So leader!! I, Hakkai Shiba, Tokyo Manji Gang's second division captain requesting permission to leave Toman!"

"Is that okay with you?" Mikey asked and everyone is silent, waiting for Hakkai's answer until Takemitchy shouted to object the decision.

Takemitchy handed over Mikey's favorite food as part of the plan to make him calm down. To be honest, I objected for this plan to push through because the others will be mad for sure.

Mikey just yeeted away the dorayaki from Takemitchy's hand and both Mikey and Draken and annoyed at this point. Takemitchy started to brows through his notes and I could tell by his reaction that he is not okay.

COURAGE. REALLY?? CHIFUYU, I LIKE YOU BUT—ahh never mind. I'll just have to improvise this one.

"Just a moment." I spoke and everyone looks at me.

"Oi Hakkai. Leaving Toman for something like that? It's not your fault Takemitchy got beaten up by the Black Dragons and we know you did not mean for that to happen. Your brother just happens to be a huge lousy jerk who knows nothing, but use violence to disguise it as discipline and family love. Tch. FUCKING BULLSHIT! YOU GUYS MUST BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!" I can feel my blood rushing and boiling in anger. My vision is getting all blurry and dark by just thinking about how Hakkai's brother treat them.

"[a-alias]-kun?" Everyone, but Kisaki and Hanma look scared. I kicked a pile of steel in front of me which made them flinch.

"Hakkai, stand up. In Tokyo Manji Gang, if one of our friends gets hurt, we'll stomp the fuck outta whatever gang did it! So remember, you and Takemitchy are our friends. We will wipe that whole gang out!"

Ah. That's right. That's how we do it in Toman. Those aren't my words. Those are Baji's. Right. Baji is gone so I'll have to carry on his ideals.

"Heh. [alias] is right. However, I'll leave this up to Mitsuya since he is the second division captain." Mikey looked at Mitsuya as a signal for him to go. Mitsuya walked up to Hakkai before saying anything.

"Don't look so sad, Hakkai. I understand."

Damn it.

"Taka-chan!! It was a pleasure working with you!!" Hakkai bowed his head.

"Huh? What are you saying? I didn't say you could leave. After hearing [alias]'s speech there, do you think it'll be that easy? Let me talk to Taiju." Mitsuya then looked at me and smiled.
