After A Month:

The night was soliciting to arrive and the day was struggling to take its leave, in between the havoc of both a beautiful evening took birth. The vast goblet of the sky was collecting the dull yet shimmery rays of melting sun. The delicate but cold slams of air were conveying the message of peace and glee but unfortunately, both feelings were offended with Rizwi Family.

Adnaan was still in coma, and all the other members of his family were in trauma, life was going on but they were converted into zombie-like creatures; alive but no less than dead.

Gul Bano and Aasif were angry with Adnaan for what he had done with Sara, but his parents are parents. Perhaps, they do punish their children but they never want anything wrong to happen to them. And here Adnaan was getting way more harsh punishment for his missteps. Aasif and Gul spend most of their time in the hospital with the hope that Adnaan would open his eyes very soon but their desire was not converting into reality. Watching their son in almost dead condition was not less damnation for them.

In this period, Sara's condition was devastated, she forgot to smile because she was blaming herself for Adnaan's accident. None except Afnaan was blaming her but her guilt was increasing with every passing day.

She kissed Fayra's cheek and embrace her protectively. A sob left from her dry parted lips when she remembered the night when Adnaan came back home after his stay in Lucknow.

"Did you miss me?" He raised a question after throwing his tired self on the bed, Sara smiled but shook her head to tease him and laid back beside him, allowing him to cage her in his muscular arms.

"Really? Not even a little bit?" Adnaan asked but she was in her mischievous form.

"No way... I was so happy and relaxed without you!" After breaking the hug she whispered near his face and he narrows his eyes as he knows the reality.

"Umm... I guess,  should go back to Lukhnow so that you can live without me. Peacefully." This time Sara's smile died and she shook her head, creeping even closer to Adnaan she kissed his jawline. "Don't you dare to leave me alone" she threatened him and he smiled while kissing her forehead. "It means someone was missing me" he smirks but Sara was no more in mischievous form.

"Yes, I was missing you. And now I won't let you go away from me." She hugged him, Adnaan keep playing with the curly hair which holds a piece of his heart; secretly. He decided to take off the thick sheet of silence, covering them whole for the last lengthy minutes.

"And what if I'll die?" He didn't know the need to ask that question, but not every time we do everything intentionally!

"Are you out of your mind?" Sara shift back, her face was pale and her heartbeat was uneven but Adnaan smiled pulling her in his arms one more time.

"Death is the reality of life. Don't be scared of it" he whispered on her head before planting a kiss.

"Adnaan, I'm unable to come out of the grief of papa's demise, now I can't handle anyone else to leave me."

In those moments they were not behaving like husband and wife, nor like leg pullers but true friends, who share every emotion.

"Promise me that you won't leave me alone like papa did" her eyes were holding softness as well as hope but Adnaan sighed. He didn't want to give her false hopes.
