2018 (Basically takes place after Robin Warner met Kevin Beaumont, but before they both met the rest of the Bat Family.)

Bruce was downstairs in the Batcave, looking at the Batcomputer. Less than twenty minutes ago, he'd met a young man who looked younger than Dick and Barbara claiming to be his son. Kevin Beaumont. Just hearing the surname Beaumont made Bruce think about his first love, Andrea Beaumont. He hadn't thought of her in a long time. Bruce had assumed that Andrea had died a long time ago. Bruce had many lovers after Andrea of course. Selina, Talia, Vicki, Silver, Julie, and Diana. Diana was a close second, but Bruce couldn't love all the other women the way he loved Andrea. The boy had credentials. Kevin had a birth certificate that confirmed Bruce was his biological father. And also a letter from Andrea that confirmed Kevin was his son. And yet Bruce, being the detective he was, wanted to see if there was a DNA match. Because what if Kevin wasn't human? What if he was another disguise of Clayface? A robot? Some sort of human plant hybrid clone created by Poison Ivy? Then again, it would be oddly strange if they were specific about that. But Bruce wasn't a hundred percent sure. While waiting for DNA results, Bruce looked at the locket that contained the picture of him and Andrea when they were together.

As for the toon that helped Kevin get to Wayne Manor, Bruce didn't know what to think of him. He never imagined that toons actually existed. Bruce always thought that cartoons like Bugs Bunny were a work of fiction. Simple and plain as that. But then again, Bruce lived in a world where aliens, supernatural beings, and gods and demigods from various religious mythologies all coexist together. He'd fought alongside gods and monsters, aliens with the powers of flight and releasing heat from their eyes. So the idea of toons existing in this world didn't seem too weird and impossible for Bruce. Amusing and odd, but he could accept it.

A couple minutes later, the Batcomputer was finished with its DNA results. It confirmed that Kevin's DNA was a biological match for Bruce's. "I have a biological son..." Bruce said to himself, "he's old enough to marry and have children of his own, just like Dick now. Kevin Adam Beaumont, my son." Since Kevin was Bruce's son, Bruce knew it would be the logical choice to welcome him into his life. Meanwhile upstairs, Kevin and Robin Warner were in the living room talking. Next to them was a 16 year old girl with ginger hair, right eye green with a scar, left eye black with a red pupil, glasses, freckles, wearing casual clothes, typical book about Middle Earth in hand. This was Tyler Jones, adopted daughter of Bruce Wayne. "Wait, you're meaning to tell me that Bruce Wayne, billionaire playboy and CEO of Wayne Enterprises, is your dad?!?!?!" Robin asked in shock. "Yeah, he was my mom's first love," said Kevin, "you know my dad?"

"Well no, but I've seen him have a fling with the occasional Hollywood starlet every now and then," said Robin, "plus Steven Spielberg met him once. Spielberg said Wayne seemed real mellow." Tyler smirked and chuckled, "fling with the occasional Hollywood starlet. That sounds like Bruce alright." Kevin raised an eyebrow and said, "you know Tyler, you seem really nonchalant about the fact that you're interacting with a toon." Tyler looked at Robin and said, "I've seen weirder. Besides, I've seen people whom I thought died suddenly turned out to be alive, and we live in a world where what is considered science fiction, fantasy, and mythology all coexist together. I can wrap my head around toons existing. As for you Mr. Beaumont, I can see a resemblance to your father. Although the fact that you have light brown hair instead of the typical black hair is definitely different. Your father usually adopts boys with black hair." Suddenly Bruce walked in. "How about we give these two some privacy?" Robin suggested. Tyler nodded and she got up, she and Robin leaving the living room. Bruce sat down next to Kevin. "So, you took a DNA test?" Kevin asked. "Yes," confirmed Bruce, "it's a match. You're my son." Kevin couldn't help but smile. "Must be surprising, isn't it?" Kevin asked. "It is," said Bruce, "what was it like? Being raised by Andrea?"

"It was pretty mundane if I'll be honest," explained Kevin, "but I had a normal childhood, for someone that was raised by a single mother. Mom really loved me with all her heart. It wasn't always easy. She missed you. A lot. As I got older, I understood Mom had a lot of regrets. Sometimes there would be days I'd see her cry due to certain days of the year that she associated with bad memories. You know what that's like, right?" Bruce nodded and said in his gruff natural voice that he used for Batman, "more than anyone. When I was with your mother, the pain I carried... it didn't hurt as much." Kevin nodded and said, "yeah. Sometimes there would be days I would be the one to comfort my mom and tell her that it's okay. I guess you could say I was Mom's humanity. But looking back, I try to think of the good memories and know that I turned out alright. When I was a kid, I always wanted to meet you. What young boy wouldn't want to meet his father?" Bruce smirked and dryly asked, "have I met your expectations?" This caused Kevin to chuckle and nod. Bruce wasn't much of a laugher, but seeing his son smile and laugh, it reminded him of Dick, in a good way. Bruce placed his arm around Kevin's shoulder and said, "I'm not the best at expressing and showing intimacy and sentimentality. Your mother is one of the few who made me feel those things. As your father, I want to say, I'm sorry that I didn't know of your existence. I'm sorry that I couldn't be there to see you take your first steps and to hear you say your first words, to see you accomplish many things others would take for granted. But, you're my son, which makes you family. If you let me, I can make up for lost time, and welcome you into my life, as both Batman and Bruce Wayne. I'll even welcome your friend, Robin Warner. How would that make you feel?" Kevin smiled and said, "that would make me incredibly happy, Dad." Bruce then hugged his son and said, "welcome to the family, Kevin."
