Barnacles: Shellington always tries to convince barnacles to let him go out in Gups, but Barnacles is worried that he'll hurt himself.
Kwazii: Kwazii tries to teach Shellington how to drive, and Shellington somehow thinks this is a good idea.
Tweak: Tweak can get very mad at Shellington for crashing the Gups. But she always feels bad when she sees his adorable sad face.
Dashi: Shellington enjoys Dashi's company, and he loves it when she helps him organise things.
Peso: Peso and Shellington spend a lot of time together, mostly because they're good friends, but also because Shellington hurts himself so often.
Overall: Super clumsy and a bit naive, (make that VERY naive) and kind of nerdy. He's a great friend to everyone though, and his facts come in handy more often than not.
