The Wolf King & I

Chapter Sixteen

   While I had been happy to be reunited with both of my parents', I was so happy. While my mother had asked me if I was really thirty,  I had only replied, "yes mother; I am thirty, today, or should I say, tonight."  While everyone in Valhalla had heard my words, they had eaten & drunk; while making toasts to me, drinking, until half of the men & women, in Valhalla; were either drunk, tipsy, or passed out, from drinking, or drunk from drinking.  As I could see the sun rising above the mountain horizon, I could see my father & grandfather coming up to me, while, we had descended down the mountain, from Valhalla, back to earth; where, I could see Fenris was waiting for me. While I had been asked if my birthday had gone well, as, I had told Fenris; "yes, Fen, I had a wonderful birthday." "I also got to see my Mother, Female Werewolf, Moon Shadow; in Valhalla." As I had told Fenris  about my Birthday Wish coming true, he had told me, "you still have one more Birthday Wish coming your way, from the pack & I, especially me." "This gift is especially from me, as The Alpha Male of The Wolf Bane Clan, & your new mate." As I had been excited by Fenris's words, I had been excited, as I had been waiting to be with Fenris; as The Alpha Female,  alone, privately; if you will, since the day we met.  As we had all howled in unison, I had felt as if I were one with nature, as I had turned back into my werewolf form; as Fenris had nudged me lovingly, as I blushed like a School Girl, that had her first kiss from her Long-Time Crush.  As I had stood upon Wolf's Bane Rock, I had let out the loudest howl I could, as Fenris had joined me; in howling, as we howled in unison, confusing The Wolf Pack Elders', as they asked; "why are you howling?" As I couldn't hold my excitement any longer, I told the elders, with much happiness; "I'm in love." As I had seen Fenris growling, I had yelled out; "I love Fenris!" After I had shouted my true feelings out, I had then seen Fenris corner me; while asking me to marry him, as I had instantly said yes to his proposal of marriage. As I had seen Fenris smile, I could see my father coming from behind a Pine Tree, that had Morning Snow on it; while saying to me, "that's my girl." "Your mother would have been very proud of you, especially, for marrying Fenris Wolf Bane." "I always knew you were going to do Great Things, but, this is great; because, now werewolves & other creatures', such as humans; can live in peace & harmony, without fear, now that you & Fenris are getting married." "Because of you marrying Fenris, The Treaty between Werewolves & Humans', will make a comeback." my father said, as he told Fenris, "you have my permission to marry my daughter, but, so help me Odin, if you so much as bite her out of anger; I will come after you, & you will regret it." As Fenris had said, "yes, my lord" to my father, while bowing down to him;  my father had told him, "good, I'm glad we have an understanding."  After my father had told Fenris & I, what he needed to say, he had then; vanished, as if he were never in the forest.
