Later, Keith informed us that they had planned a mini cricket match for us. Since we had limited time, the game would be of 6 overs for each team. Those interested went to play while the others decided to relax and cheer the players. Our school had a Cricket team which had won a few inter-school competitions. This is why this was a perfect game for this retreat.

While the match was on, Zia and Aaru dragged me aside. They started squealing and bombarding questions.

"Ved told us that he found you and Dhruva standing very close to each other in the arena."

"Is that true?"

"Why were you standing close?"

"Ved told us Dhruva had a chance to shoot you, but he didn't. Why?"

"Did he say something?"

"Did he talk about the past?"

I was looking at them with disbelief. Take my friends to blow things out of proportion. I have no idea how they even got the time to gossip between then and now. I finally had it with these two.

"Oh, God! You guys are unbelievable. Nothing happened. We did not even have the time to talk. And he was about to shoot me, but Ved shot him instead. Sometimes I really don't understand how your brain works. Matlab kuch bhi."

"Oh!"

"Yes. Now let's go back."

When we went back to the ground, we heard the guys arguing.

"Out."

"Not out."

"Out."

"Not out."

I asked Shreya, who was watching the game, "for how long has this been going?"

"5 minutes and counting."

"Oh god! They still behave like kids."

"I know, right? Cricket really brings out the kid in them".

This continued for 5 more minutes, which felt like a lifetime. The 'umpire' finally had enough and decided to break their argument. A warning was given. And the game continued for a while. The rest of us enjoyed snacks, drinks, gossips and a few rounds of 'memory teaser'. When cricket ended, everyone decided to go and get ready for the bonfire night.

At around 7:30, everyone was ready and waiting for the bonfire party to start. When we reached the ground, the bonfire was about to be lit. Everyone sat in the circle surrounding the fire. It was time to play the classic game of Truth and Dare.

By the time game Was coming to an end, everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves. There were some crazy questions and dares that had us rolling on the floor laughing.

But the one thing that struck me was that when Dhruva was asked, 'What is your biggest regret?', he did not waste a second and answered, "letting someone slip through my fingers" while looking straight into my eyes. I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but my friends sure did. How do I know that? Well, they glanced at me with questioning eyes, and I shrugged back.

Our attention was diverted when we heard Kevin speak.
"Attention guys! I hope you all are enjoying it. I will take just a minute. What's a bonfire without some s'mores?"

Cheers of excitement were heard.
"I and my team have made the arrangements for dinner as well as s'mores. Enjoy."

After that, the party was in full swing.
We baked some s'mores, had a delicious dinner, sang and danced the night away. It had been a while since I had so much fun. At around 12:30, we decided to retire to our beds with excitement for the coming day.
