Katrina Wayne had been through a lot in the last year. She had to face a future where she would die, only to have her life saved. She thought everything was going to be okay, but then the Speed Force wanted something in return for what was taken it from it. Barry Allen sacrificed himself to save the city and possibly the world. He said good-bye to Katrina and walked into the Speed Force, penance for creating Flashpoint.
Katrina wasn't sure how her and the rest of their team was going to adjust without Barry, and it was going to take some time. They continued on keeping the city safe, and moving on, but Katrina, Katrina didn't know how she was supposed to move on with out the man she was supposed to marry. Then something happens six months after Barry's disappearance, where he comes back to them but he is not the same. With this new problem, a new foe appears in the city as there always was, and with every new foe comes new challenges for Team Bolt and Flash to face down.
