↳𝐈 walked down the hall to pick up my jacket. I was already late, my friends were waiting for me in the park.

Crap!!

I got multiple messages from Hina, again.
"Gosh! Im hurrying, I'm hurrying!" - I aggressively whispered as I entered my room.

I quickly started looking for my lather jacket when-..

"GODDAMNIT" -loud yell was heard from Umeji's room.
It caught me off the guard, his voice is so cracky and weak, but why is he yelling right now?
He surely isn't playing games in that condition..right??
Him getting mad over a game is a common thing but..why the hell now?

While thinking, I spotted my jacket and took it instantly.

Should I check up on him..? I guess so..

I quietly left my room and closed the door behind me, Umeji's room wasn't far away so checking up on him won't take much time.

I was near his room when I heard some whispers coming from the other side.
I can't lie, I am curious little shit.

Instead of entering, I lowered down and pressed my ear on the door.

''It's so quiet..all I can hear him is eating..'' - I whispered that even I barely heard it
Just when I was about to go, I heard something..

"Y/n now..I need you.."

"Huh?.."
"Who's Y/n?.." -I stood there for few more seconds when I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket

I almost stopped breathing, I hurriedly left the hall and the house and then answered the phone, hoping Umeji didn't hear a thing.

"God!! I hope he didn't hear anything or Umeji will kill me!" - I panicked

"AYAME??"- Hina screamed on the other end
"Sorry..sorry..I'm coming!" - I quickly defended myself
"You have exactly 5 minutes to draw yourself here! Got it??"
"Yeayes!! I'm on my way!!"
"Hmph, good!"

Hina hanged up.

Shit..she'll kill me.

I started running without any second thoughts but one thing didn't leave my mind.

Is that the girl he has a crush on?

I have an idea, but if she's not the right person I might do a little mess.

I smiled to myself as I took my phone again and entered the app "contacts".

I scrolled down until I saw name "Gaku".

I immediately called him.

"Heeyy there, what's up? Is Umeji getting better or??" - Gaku said cheerful
"Uh not really, that's why I'm calling."
"Oh? What's wrong?"
"Well nothing actually happened it's just..um he said that it would be nice if..Y/n came over." - Ayame gulped, she was a bad liar
"Y/n?"
"Y-yes..?"
"Ohhh..that's interesting."
"Oh uh-..um yeahyeah! Sorry for bugging you at the moment."
"Pfft- it's okay and really he said that? That doesn't sound like him.." - Gaku said sceptically, but without Ayame knowing he put her on speaker
"W-well..he's really sick and he's not doing so good..You see she'd make a good company.."
"How do you know that?" -Gaku asked again
"He t-told me.."
"Hm..I see..he really is sick then. Well I'll see what can I do."
"Wait what do you mean?" - Ayame asked confused
"I mean he surly did told you about Y/n right?? Then you know why she can't come today."
"Uh-..yeaaahhh!! Of course I do know! I'm just checking with you all! If there was any uh-..turn of events."
"Hahahah! Okay! I'm glad you called though. I'll let her know."
"Su-sure! No prob!"
