Sliding on my jeans, I turn to open the door that was being mercilessly knocked on.

"I'll be down in ten Scar! For god's sake don't break down my fuckin' door!" I let out a sigh as I finish buttoning my pants.

"Jeez, OK grumpy, I'll wait for you in the kitchen," Scar replies, turning to make her way down the stairs.

I quickly call out to her before closing the door, "AND I WOULDN'T BE SO GRUMPY IF I WASN'T BEING FORCED INTO GOING TO A STUPID HOUSE PARTY!" I hear a giggle of reply and huff, slamming the door shut.

The week had gone by pretty quickly, the only difference was that Coach had sent us an email telling us to meet him Sunday afternoon for a team meeting. Not going to lie, I was a little nervous, the last time Coach had called a meeting he was making us do community service at the nursing home. My sinuses had practically melted from the putrid smell of shit from old people fed strictly liquid diets! Let's just say I spent a few extra hours in the shower that night. So it's safe to say that I wasn't very excited to find out what he had to say this time.

I grab my graphic tee with the band "The Killers" on it, throwing it on over my black wide-leg jeans. I fall back onto my bed and reach down to put on my black converse.

Standing up, I debate whether or not I should put on a chain. I decide I might as well add the chain because there is no such thing as too much. After brushing my hair back with a little bit of mouse and ruffling it up with my hand, I open the door and head downstairs.

As I reach the first floor, I am met with the sight of Scar and a bottle of vodka.

"Where did you even get that? You're underage," I set a deadpan look at her.

"You're brother's stash." She answers simply. Sighing, I head towards her and pick up the bottle, but before I can take a sip the bottle is snatched from me.

"Seriously?" I raise my voice at her.

"You're driving," she responds, while taking a swig.

"Why are you even drinking in the first place? There will be free drinks at the party." I whine in disappointment.

"Pre-drinks," she answers simply, before grabbing the keys and throwing them at me, "Come on asshole, we have a party to get to."

Asshole? Really? I sigh once more, reminding myself it probably won't be the last time tonight.

I swing the keys around my finger as I head out, locking the door behind me.

"Hurry up, idiot!" Scarlett calls from the front seat of the car and it's so loud that the neighbourhood dog begins barking hysterically, and like the dumbass she is - Scar barks back, only further antagonising the dog.

I quickly jump in the car as I see the light inside the neighbour's house flick on and the front door opening. Just as we are driving away, I hear my old neighbour yell curses at us as we pass him.

We begin laughing hysterically, and Scar turns up the radio, music blasting and flowing through the car as I pull onto the highway.

I have a feeling this is going to be a good night, I mean come on- My Chemical Romance is playing.

~Four hours later~

It was, in fact, not a good night.

I don't remember how I got here, but somehow I ended up lying across some random leather couch that is probably covered in a kindergarten full of premature children.

I feel someone shove my shoulder hard and I groan. Expecting it to be Scarlett, I grumble, "go find some guy to hook up with and leave me alone!"

Though, instead of a light feminine voice - I hear a deep gravelly laugh. "Well hello to you too asshole."
