Coach is hastily shuffling the team back, "Hurry the fuck up!" In all honesty he's being a bit much, the reason for his anxiety is that the bus driver suddenly got food poisoning and is determined to get to the location quickly so that he can finish early.

"I can't believe this is happening right now! He's puking in the bushes behind the bus!" I hear a snicker behind me and I turn to glare at Kai.

"Dude shut up!" Eren sneers as he elbows Kai in the ribs and Kai winces in pain. I just sigh and roll my eyes as I board the Bus and take my seat by the window, all too aware of Lee's presence following close behind me.

Lee drags his back up from under the seat and throws it down in front of him, the strap whipping against my thigh and I look up from my phone in confusion.

"Oh, sorry," Lee says, reaching over to grab the strap off my thigh, way too close to a certain...somewhere. I feel heat rush to my face as his finger lightly brushes my inner thigh and I turn away.

"No it's ok, what are you looking for?" I say, refusing to turn around and instead choosing to look at him through the reflection in the window.

"My headphones, I thought packed them but I guess not," he huffs angrily as he aggressively zips up his duffle and throws it under the seat.

Suddenly an idea springs into my head and before I manage to collect my thoughts and actually think about what I'm saying I blurt out, "You can just share mine." Fuck, why did I just say that.

"Share them?" Lee says with a raised eyebrow and flickering smirk. He sets a competitive gaze at me as I freeze in shock, daring me to take back my offer. Unfortunately, I'm way too stubborn of a person to give him what he wants and I try to play it off.

"Well you did say you shared my music taste, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue."

A contemplative look overtakes Lee's face before his face relaxes, seeming to have come to a conclusion as he flops into his seat beside me and grabs the left earbud that's hanging down my chest. He casually inserts the earbud and squints slightly as he listens to what I'm currently playing, "This will do," he says in approval.

"I'm glad his highness is pleased," I roll my eyes with a humorous scoff, still staring at the reflection of Lee's profile in the window.

The sound of pop punk eases itself into my ear as I take out a sketchbook I had stowed away earlier. It is now dark out and we have a few hours left till we arrive. The previous driver couldn't handle his overturned stomach for much longer and swapped out with another driver about an hour ago, since then almost everyone on the bus was dead asleep. Everyone except Sparky and I...what is this? Some cliche rom-com? I chuckle at the thought and Sparky's head whips towards me, the silence in the bus must have made my laugh sound a lot louder than usual.

"What's so funny?" Sparky says, his eyes trailing down to the sketchbook in my lap, "You draw?"

"Yes, I draw." I pause, "Why do you sound so surprised?"

"I just didn't picture you the type to be talented at more than one thing," Sparky teases maliciously and I choke on his utter audacity.

"Oh, so you admit I'm talented at something! What might that be? Perhaps you're finally admitting my soccer abilities severely over-take yours," I grin.

"No, by somehow compelling everyone around you to throw themselves into oncoming traffic. Now that's talent!" Sparky responds like a smart-ass.

"Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on you, just my luck!" I whine in mock dejection.

"You're just hilarious aren't you! Seriously, I'm suffocating on hysteria!" Sparky lets out the most humourless 'ha-ha' you have ever heard and I struggle to contain my laughter.

"Yeah yeah I get it, shut up now," I fight back my smirk as I go back to drawing. Sparky obnoxiously leans his chin on my shoulder as he peaks over at my sketchbook, I snap it shut quickly before he can take a look.

"Someone's jumpy, hiding something are we? What drawing naked men, if so I'd like to see," Sparky smiles smugly and I am quick to smack him in the face with the hardcover book.

"Don't look so proud of yourself, go to bed you horny dog," I snorted before sliding the sketchbook back into the chair in front of me.

"So I was right, you were drawing naked me-" A cough sounds out from behind me and Sparky is cut off by my hand slapping against his mouth to prevent him from letting out another sound. I cautiously peek through the divider as I push Sparky back into his chair, my hand still covering his mouth. I sigh in relief once I've confirmed that the source of the interrupting cough is asleep, before I can pull away my hand I feel a wet, slimy, weirdly-warm object run between my fingers and I rip my hand away in disgust.

"Seriously! What are you, five?" I scorn my brows scrunching up in repugnance. I wipe my glistening hand onto Sparky's shirt as I let out noises of nausea. As I raise my gaze I'm met with a sickeningly pleased smile and I pull my- now dry -hand from his shirt. Pulling a blanket up from beneath the seat, I begin settling into the chair, chasing as much comfort as I could get from the dingy and strangely firm bus seats.

"Well goodnight then," Sparky chuckles from beside me and I simply close my eyes and ignore him, drifting into unconsciousness rather suddenly.

How do I know it must be morning? Since I haven't opened my eyes yet, it's not the bright sun. Rather, it's the obnoxious squawking every Aussie is familiar with in the early hours of the AM, native birds.

Another thing I register before I even open my eyes, is the fact that I'm leaning on something- no rather, someone. I'm not too sure what to do, I know I should move, but this position is oddly comfortable and my neck enjoys the break from the stiff headrests. Before I have to force myself to move my head, I take the opportunity to peek at Sparky's side profile. As much as the two of us bicker and fight like toddlers, I have to admit his beauty. I often sneak glances just to appreciate the meticulous build of such a body. His nose is sculpted by the morning light and it defines the soft bump on the bridge that I've come to enjoy.

I'm about to sit up when I feel Sparky shift and instead of simply acting casual and sitting up before he notices my use of his shoulder, my dumbass chooses to close my eyes and pretend to sleep. Why? Who fucking knows...

The sun stings my eyes as they crack open slightly and my instant reaction is to screw them up so tight that I feel an oncoming headache. After slowly adjusting I ease my eyes open and yawn, I try to complete my morning stretch by reaching into the heavens but my plans are foiled when I feel a weight on my shoulder. Looking down in confusion, I'm met with the sight of a sleeping Lee who is...using my shoulder as a headrest.

I lift my hand to remove the weight when I notice his eyelashes, the sun illuminating each strand and drawing in my attention. I continue to admire the way the light dances across his features and the soft peaceful expression that lies atop his usuallying scowling face and ultimately decide to just leave him where he is.
