"You don't need to do that." Umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya at tumayo. Pero hindi pa ako nakakahakbang papalayo ay nahila niya na ang kamay ko.

Nagulat ako doon at napako ang tingin sa kamay niya na nakahawak sa akin. My gaze shifted to her, she's still staring at me wearing her serious face.

"I'm not asking your permission, I'm doing this because I'm your friend." she said that made me speechless.

I'm her friend, she's trying to help me. But for what? I don't see anything wrong with me. I'm happy and content with myself, I don't need someone. I'm a superior among the Levinson, I'm independent, I've always been.

"What? No! I just hate the way you talk with your best friend like I never existed there!" Galit kong sabi kaya napa-awang ang labi niya.

Agad ako umiwas ng tingin.

Napapikit ako nang mariin, I can't believe I said that to her!

I heard her chuckle. Mas sumimangot ang mukha ko dahil doon. Nanunukso niya ako tiningnan. She even tilted her head to see my reaction. I rolled my eyes and moved my head away from her.

"Oh that... Then I'm sorry. Ngayon lang kami nagkita kaya ganon."

"Is that enough reason to ignore me?" Mataray kong sabi. Her lips curved in amusement.

Nakangisi siya na umiiling.

"No, of course not. Alam kong kaunting atensyon lang ang maibibigay ko sa kanya kaya sinulit ko na..." I raised my eyebrows. Is she provoking me or what?

"At kampante ako dahil alam ko na buong oras ko ay mapupunta sa'yo pagkatapos 'non." She added and smirked at me.

What?!

Mabilis ko siya tiningnan. The side of her lips rose, I can't believe this woman! She got the nerve to say that? Napairap ako at hinatak ang kamay ko mula sa hawak niya. Natawa naman siya nang mahina at sumandal sa kinauupuan.
